I'm currently using the iPhone 14 Pro Max and I'm open to the idea of upgrading to the 16 series when it launches. Question is, it worth it tho? Your thoughts and suggestions are highly appreciated.

just like any other iphone it’s worth buying it if you can trade in.
dual sim support is very useful

I use my phone till it’s no good for me. Had an iPhone used it till they stopped apps working on it then bought the newest one. Then will use this till it’s unworkable for my uses.
I have never got people lining up for days to get the newest anything. That’s just vanity extreme.

I just upgraded to a new iPhone 13 (£500), I can't justify spending over £1000 on a new iPhone 15
I don't like mobile phones, but the iPhone is pretty good.
I would only upgrade to the latest model if it had a killer feature or money was no object, I would not upgrade just for the sake of it or to just keep up with others.

I have the 15pro max, i will sell it now for 1100EUR, (512GB)
and bridge the time until the 16 release; buy the new model because it might be a bigger change in terms of AI.
I guess just a little bit, but that's what I do every year.
So no, apple care+ , just good case + screen protection, sell it 2 month before and order new one.
