Someone say ssl ceritficate is good for Seo, and it affect to my key-rank. But I think that it just protect my web from being attacked by virus or hackers.
Please give me an advice for this question.
Thanks
First of all, SSL certs and https won't secure your site or as you called it web from virus / malware / hackers.
The connection between the visitor / customer and your site is encrypted to allow secure data transfer / comunication and avoid for example Man-in-the-Middle attacks.
I switch our shops to full https, so every request to the sites uses it.
We had some rank gains with some of our shops, with some not.
I would take it from another view than the ranking, it's cutsomer security.
Most competitors are only using https on their customer / checkout / payment pages so that's a selling point for us.
In the last month we had multiple customers that send requests about how we handle their user data, secure connections etc.
My co worker forgot a couple month ago to renew a certificate, and we had almost instantly customers calling about the invalid certificate,
and when we fix this, cause they wouldn't order on a page with a broken cert.
Now with Let's encrypt in place there is no reason not to use https. Most hosts offer those certs with auto renewel, under plesk you have a set and forget plugin for LE.
Enabling https on a page will mostly take max. 5 minutes.
Also there are several third party plugins for shops / pages that require SSL (eg Amazon Payments / Login with Amazon).
I think it's one piece of the puzzle when you play in the net.
