Is Hide my a$$ a safe VPN for eBay/Paypal?

Hey guys so I want to use the Hide My A$$ - (HMA) software as my new VPN.

However I have seen some people state that using HMA will get my accounts suspended, yet those same people say it is a good idea to use a VPN for eBay/PayPal.

Hide my a$$ advertises itself as a VPN service, yet people say don't use hide my a$$, use a VPN instead.

So my question is are people using some "part" of hide my a$$ that I am unaware of that is not a VPN?

Is HMA a bad VPN?

Why do people say to not use Hide My A$$? - Do they mean don't use the free proxy's hide my a$$ provides?

Again is using a VPN for Paypal and ebay a good idea? If so should I use the VPN service Hide my a$$ provides?

HMA is horrible so many VPN's from that site have been recycled over and over again.

eBay/PayPal will most likely know you're using a VPN.

If you have a large budget the best option would be to rent a DSL line from someone on BHW

Simple answer. Don't even try doing that. The IP's have been abused to death.

Grab a private proxy which only costs $2.

Agreed. Private proxy all the way. also, HMA dropped the ball about a year ago (this is in the file sharing community) and outed its customer's billing info and connection info to authorities. Didn't even put up a fight. If you MUST choose a VPN provider, have a look at these two articles off of torrentfreak...

I realize you would be using this for IM, and not necessarily file sharing, but being educated about the best vendors out there is all part of the game my friend. Hope it serves you well.

Most of the people deny to use HMA because they have bad experience with it such as keeping logs so no recommend it you can search HMA feedbacks on google to get more info.. there are many other VPN which you can use or try private proxy..

don't ever use any vpn. always use a dedicated VPS, Mobile Hotspot or tether cell phone.
