We know these well known TLDs ".com", ".net", ".org", etc.
But are is this so important to have your website attached to them ?
Most are already taken.
So, in 2018, in general, is it better to do:
1/ "[keyword-keyword (long)]" . [popular TLD] (example : buy a plane . com)
Or :
2/ "[short keyword] . [unpopular TLD]" ( example : plane . it)
Or it doesn't matter ?
I feel most people will be more confident to click on a popular TLD.
But will the difference be so huge ?
With a less popular TLD, and a shorter keyword, the URL of the website could also be much easier for the customer to remember.
What are your thoughts about this ?
