I used to find Amazon among the top search results when I search for tech gadgets. Now I'm not finding Amazon products among sponsored listings. The brand websites like Samsung, Apples etc are ranking better, the local alternatives like flipkart are getting better exposure, Amazon results are mostly pushed below Q&A, People also ask etc. Moreover, the adsense is showing Aliexpress instead of Amazon.

Is it all a coincidence or Google trying to avoid Amazon after slashing affiliate commissions?

I frequently use Amazon and didn't purchase anything from their competitors since 4-5 years. I used to get 10-15 Amazon ads on internet when I search for tech gadgets. But suddenly everything stopped since a week or so, and I didn't find even a single Amazon ad. Today when I checked for the price of a mobile in India, I didn't even get a single Amazon result in top 10. This is something interesting for me as an affiliate marketer.

Amazon stopped the majority of ad spend on google - that's why.
This could be the reason, or perhaps their bid on ads fell so low after the recent changes that they couldn't compete with others.

Amazon has been gradually reducing their google ads spend since the end of January and as of march 11 amazon has almost turned of all advertising.
That's what you didn't seen any ads for amazon.
