So I have $8 available in my Gigbucks balance. I'll try to withdraw it now to Paypal. Here goes nothing.

any update?
They paid me. I just didn't write about it because people were gonna jump on my di*k that i'm promoting gigbucks, and i didn't wanna go down that road.
Yes it does - HUGELY ..... True story:Use Fiverr it never disappoints
Yes it does - HUGELY ..... True story:
Created my first fiverr gig (a $20 SEO/Social Package I put together)....
To my surprise, started generating orders immediately! was really happy at first, in fact 16 Orders came through within a 2 day span!
As I'm happily completing and delivering orders, answering questions, and raking in 5 star reviews (got them from every single customer) I thought absolutely nothing could go wrong...
More orders arrived, and I was eager to deliver...Just as I was preparing to deliver my 25th successful order within a whirlwind 4 day span, BAM - My gig has been removed...
No email yet, no indication that there was any sort of issue.....definitely no complaints from buyers, had received all 5 star reviews, so I go to contact support..suddenly I'm locked out of the platform and can't access my account even to contact them!
I dig through my email, and come across an email address for a customer care staff member (that was NOT "noreply") from a previous interaction with them, and thinking of this more in terms of a bug report than a possible ban, let them know I was having technical difficulties logging back in...
I receive a very vague reply message informing me that I was permanently banned for "terms violations" - going through their site terms with a fine toothed comb, I couldn't find one term or condition I had violated - so I replied, stating my position (that I hadn't violated any terms that I could find) and politely requested a reconsideration...
As it turned out - the "terms" had nothing to do with my present gig at all..turns out I had created an account on fiverr to check it out WAY back in 2012 (and never used the account) - and that was enough for them to close my account, ban me and hold on to my funds (25 orders x $20 each) for 90 days.....and rudely tell me to stop emailing them for 3 months..... THAT is how Fiverr disappoints
Sorry for bumping such an old thread - but felt the need to reply and update the status of this ( JUST got resolved almost a year and a half after they were only supposed to be allowed to hold my funds for 90 days)Ridiculous. But how did they know about your old account? Did you login with it? Or how did they connect the old account from 2012 to the one now 2018?
Sorry for bumping such an old thread - but felt the need to reply and update the status of this ( JUST got resolved almost a year and a half after they were only supposed to be allowed to hold my funds for 90 days)
To answer your question @Scorpion Ghost they found out after when they ran my tax information.. apparently when I signed up to check it out in 2012 I had signed up as wanting to check it out as a buyer and a seller therefore they had me fill out tax documents, and my SSN was in their system.
So, after they had been dodging me this entire time I was finally as of last week beginning of August 2019 able to get (most of) the money they placed on a "90 day hold" in March of 2018 - and they did not make it easy... in order to get them (fiverr) to even respond to me, I had to take to twitter, practically suited for battle, and take to tweeting them in plain public view, ready to immediately fire back rebuttals to the many attempts they made at brushing it off and making it appear as though I hadn't attempted to contact them any other way - the usual BS ouf of these types of companies - "If you log into your account and go to _____" I cant log in to my account, it has been suspended "if you email customer support" I have emailed them over two dozen times in the past year and have yet to recieive a response" -
"If you log in to the service portal and submit a ticket" that resource is also blocked as soon as your access to your fiverr account is blocked "well if you reach out in the fiverr forums one and get ahold of a moderator" - already attempted that, the moderators make it clear that the only thing they are able to do is answer general questions and moderate the forum, no access to accounts or generating help desk tickets on buyers/sellers behalf - just moderate and answer general questions - this back and forth happened publically before they would finally contact me by email (probably because I kept replying so quickly, because their M.O. is, if they don't see a rebuttal from one of those BS suggestions in about an hour they'll post something like "due to your lack of responsiveness we can only assume that the solution we have offered you met your needs, and will consider his matter resolved favorably" or something sickeningly similar...
Anyway, then begins the identity verification - which is understandable ... of course the sceen name, entered password, social, security quiestions blah blah... of course all correct.. Then they asked me for another copy of my identity documents - thought that was an odd and unnecessary request, as they already had them and had nor reason that I could think of to need two copies - but at this point I was on a roll so I just sent them - they were readily available to me anyway... then the "Trust and Safety Officer" seemed to think she had struck gold - she was insisting that "She would only authorize the release of these funds so long as it were loaded onto the SAME payoneer debit card that was originally associated with my account" - which had expired.... Claiming that "Asking for a payout on any other account will be considered to be an attempt to perform a fraudulent transaction, causing the immediate forfeiture of any remaining balance as well as immediate and permanent loss of any communications privileges with fiverr or any of it's agents"....Nevermind the fact that I had already verified my account by every single means and method they could possibly verify me - and had 2 copies of my valid government identification documents and proof of address yada yada yada...
At this point I was F - U - M - I - N - G but determined ..... So I commenced to call Payoneer - and I was very fortunate to get ahold of some very thorough representatives that were ultimately able to help me out tremendously and got me MOST (I'll explain that part at the end) of my money...
First order of business, after I explained to the first rep exactly what was going on - and how long I had been fighting with them etc, and their demands, etc was to order me a non-expired Payoneer card, which they sent to me at no cost.. In the meantime, while waiting for it to arrive, the issue was escalated (that I must add she did an excellent job documenting the facts and circumstances because the supervisor who contacted me seemed very much up to speed - very litle explaining to her involved, I was highly impressed. The solution essentially involved (gonna try to explain this to the best of my understanding) re-activating the internal account number of the original Payoneer debit card (once the new one is received and activated) and swapping it in where the old card was linked, changing the internal id of this new payoneer card to match the internal id of the old one, making all the applicable proprietary internal id factors identifying the linked account match the original (the actual card number is not one of those factors) - but their internal identifying number (a mystery forever) and the associated account (in this case Fiverr) screen name are.... then activating that payout option administratively in their backend....(it is very possible that I explained this process poorly again this is not my field of expertise and I was frankly a bit preoccupied with aggriavation towards fiverr and feeling rather dubious that It would even work so I may have missed a couple key steps lol)
The result - PAYONEER ROCKS!!!!!! Much to her chagrin - the "Trust and Safety Officer" was forced to release funds to me.. after all that (and honestly, she sounded a more than slightly irked that she had to release the funds - the tone of her voice said loud and clear she was looking forward to telling me to fuck off lol I really don't think it was just my perception either) .
Sales Totals at time of hold: $400
Owed Total After Fiverr Fees: $320
Money Recovered: $270
$50 was withheld for "Administrative and Identity Verification fees"
SMH....
Why was Payoneer so diligent about helping me with this and did not come across as doubting me in any way or the least bit surprised at Fiverr's antics? I can only imagine I'm not the first case they've seen of the overzealous and unreasonable demands placed by the Fiverr "Trust and Safety" team on their customers.. At the end of the day, I'm just incredibly grateful for Payoneer and the agents that helped me recover what I was able to recover - that's an example of why I've had an open payoneer account for about 6 years now....
So a semi-happy ending to a longstanding Fiverr Shutdown/Payments holding battle that lasted 6x longer than they were legally allowed to withhold the funds from me - I figured this old thread was worth a bump in light of this fresh resolution lol
I did? I don't even remember that. Where the hell did you dig that out from? Don't you have anything better to do?
If I were going to promote something I'd promote my own sites. Shit, my Fiverr gigs if nothing else.
18 months is when I started my first Fiverr clone, and my first Social Media selling site. Up until that point I was working as a transcriber, mostly. That was also around the time I was selling on Fiverr, but then Fiverr shut down my account (that's when I started my Fiverr clone, sorta kinda out of spite - steal customers from them haha).
Now I sell on Fiverr, with 2 different accounts, and I have my little Fiverr clone and my Social Media services selling site. But I'm looking to create more gigs on more sites to take up more internet space/real estate and increase my chances of making more sales left and right. Gigbucks was a candidate for selling stuff on there, since it's an old site that usually appears in articles that will list you the best microjobs sites.
But I've been lazy and busy, so I just created my first 2 gigs on Gigbucks the other day. They had a limit of creating 1 gig per day. So I had to do 1 gig per day. But they approved both pretty quickly, fine.
Frankly, I was more sure I'd make a sale on Fivesquid or Fourerr, because Gigbucks does look kinda crappy. But I made the sales on Gigbucks. We'll see how it goes. I also suspect that maybe the owner of Gigbucks or whoever runs it did the buying. And then after I deliver he'll refuse to accept the delivery, or simply not pay me for it, and get the stuff for free.
I can't say what it is. I'll just have to deliver the gigs and see how it goes.
p.s if you want my own sites i'll gladly send them to you in a PM. And then you can buy something from my sites![]()
Hi hope you are doing well sorry to bump this old thread but I really wanted to ask you how did you get your fiverr clone successfully because this is quite difficult to do with ID checks etc in place if you have already made an account before. Would be awesome if you could share this method with me/thread![]()
Ahh got it now but you did say that Fiverr has got tons of clients and you couldn't just let the money rest on the table in front of you? What I meant by Fiverr clone is I created a website that's like fiverr, not that I created multiple accounts on Fiverr.
Creating multiple accounts on a platform that requires ID is not easy. You either go fake docs or family members and friends.
Ahh got it now but you did say that Fiverr has got tons of clients and you couldn't just let the money rest on the table in front of you?
Also remember reading that you after getting blocked now simply put up ur gigs on fiverr and just let it get internal traffic and sales with no promotion. So how did u manage that?
Got it so withdrawal method and all details brand new nothing link backs to the old one. That is the only way I suppose. But what is the secret to their success in acquiring insane amounts of client's to their site though any idea's, It makes sense cuz sellers trying to promote their own gig's will help spread brand exposure but besides that and high number of blog articles stating them to be a top freelance marketplace do they do any other types of promotions?I don't mess with Fiverr anymore. I have 1 account only now with some easy-to-deliver gigs. I rarely make any sales, but I have the account. It's in a family member's name, so I can provide ID if Fiverr asks for it.
