Just as any BHW member does, I went to the search bar and typed in "gigbucks" in order to find some threads that I could link here for you to read through. Of course you can only imagine the hilarity of the situation when one of the more recent search results was one which you posted back in April of 2015: (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/gigbucks-is-it-still-alive.754262/)

Now a serious answer: While I've never used the site myself I probably would steer clear of it seeing as how almost every thread on BHW about them is negative. Sure things may have changed if the owner actually managed to sell the site but if the new owner was serious about it then he would at least try and do something about the fact that every search result in Google for "Is gigbucks legit?" comes up as a negative review. The final turn off is the fact that their blog hasn't been updated since 2014 and while this on its own is not a big deal, when considered alongside everything else this site screams "STAY AWAY!"

Perhaps somebody who uses the site could give you a better answer but at this point I find it hard to believe that anybody actually uses the site for anything more than a PBN link.

Actually, you're right. I also went to Google first and googled around. All the threads are old and nothing very positive. They've been sold and resold a million times too it seems.

Thing is, I made 2 gigs on there the other day, and I had 1 sale for each. I'm set to make $8 bucks from that. I'm set to spend about $1. One of the buyers registered on there about 2 weeks ago, and the other buyer registered 3 days ago.

Well, I'll go through with it, and I'll let you know how it goes. Let's make a case study out of it to see if they're legit.

Though, I'm not sure what the minimum withdrawal limit is, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to try and withdraw after I deliver these gigs and get the $8 cleared.

Oh well, I'll update this thread about how things work out.

And if anyone is selling on Gigbucks, or knows anything about it, let me know.

Well, from what I can gather from their outdated knowledge base.

1) It takes 14 days for the funds to clear into your account after a gig is successfully delivered
2) And I quote: "To be eligible for withdrawal, you must have a minimum balance of $ 4.00. "
3) They do pay by Paypal

So if I deliver one or both of these gigs and they get accepted and all. I'll then have to wait 14 days for the funds to clear. And then I'll be able to withdraw, at which point it takes up to 3 business days (according to their knowledge base) for the funds to be sent to you.

Let's do this.

You just said you sold two gigs on the Gigbucks site so you should be telling us if they pay or if they are legit instead of asking the same thing you did 18 months ago.

If I wasn't in a Christmas spirit I'd say someone was just promoting the gigbucks gimmick or ramping up towards self promotion .

I did? I don't even remember that. Where the hell did you dig that out from? Don't you have anything better to do?

If I were going to promote something I'd promote my own sites. Shit, my Fiverr gigs if nothing else.

18 months is when I started my first Fiverr clone, and my first Social Media selling site. Up until that point I was working as a transcriber, mostly. That was also around the time I was selling on Fiverr, but then Fiverr shut down my account (that's when I started my Fiverr clone, sorta kinda out of spite - steal customers from them haha).

Now I sell on Fiverr, with 2 different accounts, and I have my little Fiverr clone and my Social Media services selling site. But I'm looking to create more gigs on more sites to take up more internet space/real estate and increase my chances of making more sales left and right. Gigbucks was a candidate for selling stuff on there, since it's an old site that usually appears in articles that will list you the best microjobs sites.

But I've been lazy and busy, so I just created my first 2 gigs on Gigbucks the other day. They had a limit of creating 1 gig per day. So I had to do 1 gig per day. But they approved both pretty quickly, fine.

Frankly, I was more sure I'd make a sale on Fivesquid or Fourerr, because Gigbucks does look kinda crappy. But I made the sales on Gigbucks. We'll see how it goes. I also suspect that maybe the owner of Gigbucks or whoever runs it did the buying. And then after I deliver he'll refuse to accept the delivery, or simply not pay me for it, and get the stuff for free.

I can't say what it is. I'll just have to deliver the gigs and see how it goes.

Well, Fivesquid and Fourerr seem nicer than Gigbucks. They seem alive in comparison. That's one.

Frankly, I don't have any advice for selling on those sites. The advice I do have is for you to create your own sites and sell on your own sites. Your own sites are yours! No one can ban you, delete your account, or not pay you. You run the show, you have the control, you call the shots, you are really your own boss then.

As I said above, "If I were going to promote something I'd promote my own sites."

I really mean that. I don't promote anything other than my own websites, or things that lead to my own websites (like Youtube videos, social media pages, etc). The sites like Fiverr and other such sites, I create gigs on them, and I let those gigs be there. If a sales comes in, it does. If it doesn't, then who cares. I don't prioritize platforms that can remove my account any time they want. That's like building your house on unsolid ground. Not smart.

The only Fiverr "promotion" did for my 2 accounts I have on there, is I put the badges they offer in the sidebar of one of my little bloggers. That's it.

One of the reasons I have this opinion is because about 18 months ago I found a little niche that was not competitive at all on Fiverr, and I made gigs. I reached Level 2 and make about $350 bucks in the first month. I went and promoted my gigs on Youtube videos and Blogspots and everywhere else I could drop a comment. Then one day, Fiverr banned my account. And my money was frozen for 45 days, at which point I had to send them a valid ID card where my name is shown and is the same as the name on my Fiverr account. Good thing I made that Fiverr account with my real name, so after 45 days I sent them the document, and they paid me. I asked them to restore my account, and they told me to eat shit and die a lonely death. So I left Fiverr after that and made my own websites.

After about a year, I went back on Fiverr, because whether I like it or not, they have a shit ton of clients, and by not being there I was leaving money on the table. But even though I went back, I don't ever promote my Fiverr accounts/gigs, and I only rely on any internal traffic/customers that I get from Fiverr itself.

hahaha before I only read after the "now a serious answer." I just sort of glanced over the first paragraph, and read for real after the serious answer bit.

Now I opened that thread, and saw what was said.

Frankly, since no one really has a definitive answer of "I tried it, and they're a scam," then I'll try it out anyway. I probably won't get the money, judging by all the criteria of common sense. But since I made the 2 gigs, and made the 2 sales, I'll deliver them (one of them is free to deliver, and the other one I'm buying elsewhere for a buck), and see how it goes.

At least I'll know for a fact what's up when it's all said and done. And you'll know too, as I'll report here.

When you say that "Gigbucks pay well," do you mean they actually pay? So you've been paid by them recently?

I'm member since May 6, 2015, made aprox. 8-10 Withdrawals and they paid.
This is my experience but I don't think you will make sales on gigbucks because their traffic is too low
anyway it all depends of what you sell so I with you Good Luck and hope you will make sales

Well that's encouraging, but we'll see.

The reason I started this thread was because I made 2 gigs on there, and a day later I made 1 sale for each. And then I asked here because it was kinda weird, and I was even wondering if I should deliver those gigs or not. I wasn't expecting sales on Gigbucks.

But seeing as I'll only be like 1 dollar out of pocket to deliver, I'll go ahead and do it, and then if all goes well, in 2 weeks I'll try to withdraw to Paypal, and report how it went.

One more question, could we bother you for a payment proof? You can hide your email and the transaction ID you know. It'd be encouraging to see a payment proof. Frankly, even on Google images if you search for "Gigbucks payment proof," there's nothing there.

LOL, I don't have time for things like this, from my posts you can see that from my experience I just confirmed that you can withdraw your money from gigbucks but I din't encouraged you to use their website because I think their traffic is too low (again my opinion), you need to TEST TEST TEST and you will have questions to anything you need.
