Is Filler Content a Good Idea

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen of BHW.

I have an MMO/wealth niche website.

I post about 1 high-quality article per week.

The issue is I feel like I'm not cranking out enough articles.

I feel filler content would give me a nice boost in traffic.

My thoughts are to find low comp keywords then pay someone to write filler content for me.

If I'm 1st or 2nd for 100-150 different search terms that have only 30-50 searches per week, that could bring me hundreds of extra visitors per month.

People would then go to that page through SEO and hopefully flow through my website to other high-quality money pages. or share them to increase my rankings

Thoughts?

Also, pray for me guys, tested positive 4 days ago for the beer flu.

No filler, that strategy used to work like charm before. But if you really want to become an authority in a niche, don't use them. Just my opinion.

Some very high authority sites have more filler pages than you may think.

For example:
https://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/marketwire/1243421.htm

I say you could back-date them so they're buried then mark them as "contributor" content so they are not taken seriously by readers

Yah get a dev on Upwork to make a little banner that adds a disclaimer for content in the "contributor" category on WP.
