Hi guys, i wanted to know if i can base my profits on the EPC from CPA offers, because there are some offers with $0.91 cents and some with $5.95 so lets say say we have an offer with $4.50 and i send 100 people to the offer with advertising does that mean that every person i send to the link i get paid the EPC or does it work another way. Thanks

What matters is your return on investment.

EPC is average of all the affiliates promoting that product. Its a rough idea of how well an offer is doing but there is no guarantee that you will achieve the same.

I've gotten epc's 10x the displayed epc. I've also gotten much lower than the displayed epc. It doesn't tell you much, which is why a lot of networks don't display it at all. It's just the average of everyone's epc, like abuhanifa said.

yeah EPC is the average from all users promoting it. It doesn't mean you will make exactly that amount - it can be lower and it can be higher

    To explain what EPC is:

Imagine you are running an offer which converts at $5.00. You send 100 people to the offer, 5 convert. You earned $25, sent 100 people there, that is an average of 25/100 = $0.25 per click. And that is also your EPC. $0.25. So basically EPC is just average earning your will get per click. But of course you are still only paid for conversions. EPC is just a statistical number and it's the most important factor when deciding what offers to run.

However, some CPA networks do show overall EPC of offers from all advertisers, some don't. Remember, that many advertisers send shitty traffic and thus the EPC is overally lower. If you have quality traffic, your EPC will be higher. You just have to test and test and test and EPC of your traffic is what matters. If your networks doesn't show overall EPCs, you can still ask your Affiliate Manager what offers are converting the best.
