Hello

I'm a business owner, and it is not easy to juggle many things at the same time, this forum was of great help for me to progress, and learn.

I had an idea to copy the same linking domains from one of my biggest competitors, is this a good idea, (the website is many years old) if yes where can I hire someone to help me build those links?

Thank you

@Mona268 If your competitor has a strong link profile, then it is a good idea to copy their best links. The shittier ones you don't have to worry about. However, you can rank with other links as well as long as they are relevant. You should look at getting links from relevant sites that have a strong link profile and good organic traffic history. You can also go for some lesser relevant links if they are really strong and you can make the content on the linking site work for your niche. However, before you do that, make sure your content is also as good as your competition.

Usually, you will only be able to build the shittier links for free. Stronger ones will require outreach and possibly some big bucks. And if your competitor knows how to get their links you might not even be able to find them as they would be masked. Which means you'll end up copying the lower tier backlink profile, which would basically be a lot of work for nothing. But if you feel like the links your competitor has are strong and can be duplicated, sure, go for it

IF you're a business owner, you should really focus on ads and on-page optimization/conversions.

Yes, SEO is definitely worth it in the long run, if it might take years for you to see movement.

I know this is not what you came in here looking to hear, but it's a better approach in generating money if you really think about it.

Test ads all day, and see how you can get away with lower bids, and higher conversions.

I worked for a company in the past that simply replaced the background color with blue increased their conversions by 30%.

There are a lot of nuances to landing page optimization. Invest in that, and run ads while you generate money to actually buy worthwhile links.

Thanks a lot for your answer, yes I see your point, and I will definitely consider it.
For instant results Ads are a great channel to get traffic and to test to optimize conversion.
We have started testing ads, and we stopped when we saw organic traffic rising, but I think we should do both, and it was a dumb idea to stop it because we were profitable with ads.

Sometimes some links are not repeatable (at least easily).

But yes, in general is a good idea, unless you hire a agency that looks for you, most packages you may find in the marketplace are not oriented to replication, but to sell their own set of links, regardless of your competence.

Yes , I usually do , somehow only just pick good domains , rest filter them out !

Get the best links you can get yourself
+
The best links from your top 5 competitors.

Or
Just get better links than them.

Easy to say though, not easy to implement.
But that's how it works.

Yes, it is worthy

Though you need to club it with competitors Guest Post link as well which you can achieve by outreaching

Don't ever do it.
Come up with your own stuff LOL
Hold on... don't ever build links.

Spying on what competitors doing is needed.
But exact copying of them is not recommended.

You cant copy all links as you cant find all links.

While it's true that getting backlinks from high authority sites that are relevant to your niche can be beneficial for your website's SEO, it's important to approach link-building in a strategic way. Identify the Link Profile That are Quality over quantity It's not just about getting as many backlinks as possible, but about getting high-quality backlinks from reputable websites. A few high-quality backlinks can be more valuable than many low-quality backlinks.
Diversify your link profile: It's important to have a diverse set of backlinks to your website from a variety of sources, including different types of websites (e.g. blogs, news sites, directories), different anchor texts, and different domains. yeah of course it is totally okey to copying your competitor backlinks

With most "SERIOUS" competitors this is not possible because: 1) they control the sources of those links, or, 2) those links were awarded on the basis of merit and you probably don't merit.

You rarely win by mimicking a competitor. You win by doing something superior.

Yes, You can copy your competitor's backlinks, but make sure their backlinks have high quality.

It may not give you the same results as your biggest competitor in terms of search engine rankings and online visibility if you copy their linking domains. Try it your way then you will learn more information.

Its one of the best seo strategies and most people do it. But the competitor should be good.

Yes, this is a smart idea. But make sure all of them are relevant to your niche or website. On the other hand, focus should be on improving the
On page as well.
