Anonymous drop points are definitely hard to come by. The chances of you living near an abandoned house that the postal service will still deliver to (without signature or contact) are next to 0. Seems to me you'd have to outright break the law. Fake id would definitely be a requirement and you'd need a fake proof of residence as well, which wouldn't be as difficult. If anyone can think of a LEGAL way please post it here.
What does this business do, specifically? I may have a use for your services in the future. If you'd rather use anonymous correspondence just pm me, I value my privacy like a lot of other people do too (VPN + Tor + Tails + anonymous emails... on a dedicated machine). Serious inquiry.

Hey guys... I just found a truly anonymous email provide in Switzerland. Here's the deal. They have free and paid email and they don't ask for any personal info when you sign up -- just a username and a password. To have 100% complete anonymity, you and whoever you email to should both have an account. The provider does not have a record of your password... if you lose it you're locked out. They also do not monitor your communications. From the moment you click send your message is sent under military encryption in both directions if you are both account holders.
Just a quick note:
1) After you provide a username and password the form will ask for a 'Recovery Email' (optional) if you want privacy don't provide one. --just don't forget your access info.
2) When you click 'CREATE ACCOUNT' the system wants to make sure you are human... so choose the 'CAPTCHA' option and follow the prompts.
3) Once you are inside your email make sure to read all four emails that they send you. You will learn even more ways to protect your privacy.
SIDE NOTE:
I always use 'HideMyAss' (VPN) (paid version) to change my IP before I send any emails as added protection. You could even use the TOR browser, it's free to download.

Gov't tax auction databases, rewarding anonymous tips on craigslist... and a few other sources i can think of.
You could basically eliminate trouble from neighbors etc. by having 3G quadcopter controlled through Tor pick up doorstep package and travel back to you via sewer system, or some other route that would shake or detect tailing. Expensive but pretty anonymous.

Re: the legality of using someone else's place as a mail drop, IANAL, but if placing your own property at someone's door was illegal, then I guess people who hang flyers on door handles would be criminals. Also, it seems many people pick up their own misdelivered packages from doorsteps w/o issue.

If there's a storm door protecting the entry door from weather:

Print out an alternate mailing label to cover the original (use sleight of hand or a magic trick involving a 2nd box), so it'll look like it was delivered to wrong street (rd/ct/dr) if a neighbor approaches you. That's deceptive though. Technically, if this isn't illegal then you could just explain what you did, walk away and don't do it there again.
I would avoid impersonating the resident by using their name on your package. couriers know people sublet / rent out rooms to others, so it's not suspicious if the package has different name. But if you want to be tricky you could use a similar-looking last name

- Dab talcum powder/flour on the underside of inside handle where it won't be visible, but will show if someone grabs it or cleans it up; maybe with oil to help it stick
- Piece of invisible scotch tape at top of door near hinge side, partially cut so it'll tear when someone opens the door
- Matchstick variation of the Death Note paper trap, on hinge side of storm door

- Color a piece of gum similar to the handle color and flatten it on underside of handle, where it /probably/ won't be seen from a distance, but will be felt if someone grabs it. If a neighbor is nosy enough to see and pick it off, then it's probably not a great location anyway
- Print up a bogus flyer (e.g. "we pay cash for house!!" lol) and stick it in a weatherproof door-hanger designed for the purpose. If it gets removed within a few days, either it's occupied or has meddlesome neighbors.

That's actually perfectly legal in many countries. Couriers esp. USPS may refuse to deliver to an obviously-derelict house (e.g. boarded-up like 16,000 are in Baltimore).
But one of the requirements of Adverse Possession is useful in this case, from a legal dictionary:
Basically, mail some dummy packages to the address by the courier you'll be using, and make sure you're in the front yard / room doing legit repair/maintenance work when they deliver those. They'll just figure someone bought the property and is fixing it up. Eventually send the main package(s). You can keep using that as a drop address unless/until the property owner / possessing bank confronts you, per law.

Check their nameplate once more before ordering anything. nursing homes would be better as they are generally long-term residences, but I think names are harder to get from them (unless you volunteer or pay someone to..)
