I was thinking something like this: take my laptop to a neighboring city, connect to an unsecure network, create a fake free email address, create a fake Facebook account then send the email to the person through Facebook. Is there anyway possible, even for a very tech savvy person, to trace the email back to me?

the only thing Ive come up with is forwarding from another mailbox online using photoshop to provide 2 forms of id and having a form notarized.

It is actually very possible to do it. use prepaid credit cards to rent servers under a fake name and use proxies and a mass mailing system like send safe to send your mail. connect to the rented server through a VPN and you are hidden form anyone knowing that you are sending any emails!

Yes it's possible. You just need to have your own server and hosting and leave the name portion a fake name when you create your E-mail account. Your IP address will always show up, but no matter what you do this will happen.
