I think Blogspot can still have some value, but I wouldn't rely on it as the main SEO strategy The quality and relevance of the content matter much more than simply using Blogspot as a satellite site

Blogspot can still be useful as a supporting asset, but I wouldn’t rely on thin satellite blogs network since Google is increasingly focusing on spam/link manipulation.

If you use it, make each site independently useful: a clear topic, original content, a real audience, and only contextual links where they genuinely help readers. Otherwise the time is usually better spent improving your main site or earning relevant editorial mentions.
