Is Blogging dead?

Blogging isn’t dead — it’s just changing. AI may give quick answers, but people still look for personal stories, deep insights, and unique opinions. New bloggers can still grow if they focus on quality, niche topics, and building trust with their audience.

Blogging isn't dead yet—it's just not as easy as it used to be. If you publish generic content, you'll be buried. But if you focus on specific topics, real value, and building trust with your audience, it still works. Adapt or fade away.

Blogging can never die as long as people are consuming info. Methods may change as our lives are so dynamic.

blogging is still very much alive, AI is awesome however hard work with authenticity will always went out, you put in the work to write original content it will always pay off

Porn didn’t replace sex. Vibrators didn’t replace sex. A lot of people would even prefer bad sex to porn.

But search engines and search platforms are going to drive less traffic to your content if they keep pushing AI answers, AI Mode, and AI overviews on people. If your webpage went from being something users had to click through to just a footnote in an amalgamated answer, you’re going to get less traffic. A lot of people will stop clicking or searching once they get an AI overview.

But the bigger problem is people using AI chatbots instead of search engines. If chatbots simply capture information from publishers and give it to users without sending any traffic back in return, that’s a big problem.

The earnings of even bigger players is impacted because of the reasons you mentioned above. But that does not mean they should give up blogging.

Another problem is algorithms bypassing publishers altogether and going straight for human sources and voices on social media platforms. It doesn't matter whether you're talking about a chatbot or a search engine.
