I have a very popular blog that I've been running since 2006. It gets about 120k pageviews a month.
When the pandemic started, I launched a new podcast.
The podcast is a better business in every way. I'm now doing 450k downloads per month after 20 months.
The CPM's are much higher and the engagement is off the charts.
Yes, you are right about the indexing problems. So many bad indexing services now too.Blogging is not a problem.. the real problem is Google has increased the indexing time! It is crawling on priority but showing up in the indexes is taking time!
trust me there is a massive difference between having the articles on the domain and having them in a subdomainThere's not a difference in getting a new domain, adding subdomain or folder for your blog articles. The key to a blog's success is to provide value to the readers. Ranking is a different story though. If you want to rank fast on a tight niche, long-tail keywords are the best ones to start with.
Yes this is a problem. It seems narrower the niche its easy to get it indexed. The KGR thing is real, although i am not using KGR keywords here. But if the niche is narrow meaning less content on web so google algo is force to index somehow. But could be just a theory.
