Is Blog Commenting with Scrapebox Dead?

satyawrat, do you blast direct to your money page or do you blust to web 2.0 that links to your money page, to protect you site?

wich way its better for fast results on the rankings?

i will apreciate if you can help thanks.

I think you are supposed to link to your web 2.0 only to act as a buffer to your money site.

with your blasts u are getting results with are they all na/0 or or do u have some with decent pr etc?

Is it possible to use this SB with forum sites? like putting posts in to forums ???

As far as I learned, you use xrumer for this. Anyway, I would not be surprised, if google doesn't count backlicks from blog-comments anymore. They're so easy to spam using SB.

One more question: Is there a way to avoid Akismet blacklisting your domain? Most quality blogs use Akismet nowadays.

For more unanswered questions check my thread: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/white-hat-seo/247426-experiment-do-blog-comments-help-serp.html :biggthump

I usually blast a new site with a shitload of SB comments, Xrumer profiles and directory submissions. Let G find the links itself and a don't care shit if it jumps around cause a project i did a few weeks ago will have a solid page one position, and growing.

Now i also do my KW checks, competitors etc etc

No one who replied to this thread had actually split tested and checked what you are asking for. In addition; those who did check and actually know the answer will never reply here.

You see; the things that work efficiently are not listed in discussion forums. Even though there are many people who will disagree with me. But these usually benefit from people taking their side in one way or another.

You can find valuable information that will direct you to your answers; you will not find gold, and you certainly won't find all the answers.

You guys need to remember that a 10k scrapebox blast are not instant links like a 10k xrumer blast. Most blogs are moderated, not autoapproved, and are nofollow. On a 10k blog blast, you may only get 5 autoapproved links if that and probably nofollow. The rest will either be held for moderation or caught by askimet. If they weren't caught by askimet, then your only hope of getting approved by a moderator is if you have a decent comment.

However, this doesn't mean scrapebox is useless at all. You can still boost rankings with that information I just gave you. You just have to do a little more work to get a good list. If you scrape by niche, a generic comment about the subject may be just enough to get your comment approved.

I use scrapebox to come up with really good lists that have good PR and are D0F0ll0w. I do some manual posting to ensure that most of my comments are approved then use pingler.com on them once they are. Think about it. If I got like 10 PR7 D0F0ll0w comments posted vs 10,000 NA no follow blogs I mean I'm basically just causing a nuiscance, wasting time, and unproductive.

With that said, you could also just keep blasting a dummy comment until you come up with a large enough autoapprove list and then blast your real site on the new autoapprove list.

Scrapebox blog commenting is dead, totally dead - don't do it anymore :-)

Absolutely not, blog commenting is still alive and kicking. It's a great way to get your pages indexed, increase rankings, as well as traffic.

On one of my blasts I've had one of my sites go from only 140 pages indexed (for the past 6 months) to 360 pages indexed! This was all within 30 hours of one of my blasts! It's actually amazing to see the ranking increases as well, and consequently the rise in traffic.

This is good advice, to post manually.
I've been writing so many spammy sounding comments lately that I had to think twice to come up with a relevant comment that didn't begin with "nice blog."

When someone has a failed campaign, these kind of posts appear . They are actually the perfect place for someone to whine or for someone to say "yes its dead, i want to be the only one using it".

Scrapebox is still a tool and It has many great features. These kind of links are very useful but having scrapebox(as with any tool) is not the key to paradise.. They are tons of tools available. Use them all and get a variety of links. Another tool that its also valuable is patience.

ANOTHER QUESTION PLS:

Is Scrapebox can collect/hoover/Scrape email address?
If yes , where from (Google,Yahoo etc...)? Can it be from multi url's targeting? any information about this proccess is appreciated.

Scrapebox can harvest emails from all the urls you have already harvested.
You use your keywords/footprints etc and you get the urls (results from google/yahoo/bing). You press the grab emails button and it tries to find emails formats in these urls.

For low & medium competition, yes, it is effective. Approval rates for a domain name is much higher than long urls, web2s get approved primarily in auto-approve blogs only. I was able to scrapebox my way up to 2nd spot for medium competitive keywords, just harvest & post, no auto approve used for these, took me about 2 months. Good onsite SEO on these.

High competitive, don't know. I try to work with quality with high competitive keywords, that said if you could get enough quantity, it would work too. Unless you have an enormous amount autoapprove blogs in your hand, I'd say forget about it.

If I got like 10 PR7 D0F0ll0w comments posted vs 10,000 NA no follow blogs I mean I'm basically just causing a nuiscance, wasting time, and unproductive.

Whatever, I have to yet see any reasonable results from PR7 D0f0llow comments, since these usually have unreasonable amount of OBLs, which results in pretty much nothing. PR4-5 is where I live, I can find a good amount of these with just a few links on them.
