Is Blog Commenting with Scrapebox Dead?

Hey,

hav any1 hav any quick results with scrapebox blasts recently, that is, within the last 2 months?

1) I'm asking for things like a 1500 or 5000 blast and any increase in the SERPs.

2) Or have you seen the effectiveness of blasting the web 2.0 or the 'shield' sites to increase PR/authority of the 'shields' to increase SERPs of the main sites?

3) How long did it take, like a week or a month or even more.

That depends tbh, i had a site which didnt increase in serp after 10k blast. It was around #20 after other forms of linkbuilding. THen I did a 5k blas and I was on #5 within next 4 days.

How long did it take for what? For blasting or seeing the changes?

Yes, I do sometimes blast the shield sites but only when am doing over 20k or somehting around that number. But that's just me.

about a month ago I blasted a site of mine, from 140 to disappeared from serps to rank 12 14 days later...
last and this week I've been doing some blasts on another site with bad onpage seo, and I have yet to see any positive results.

I think it depends on:
a) does your site only have blog backlinks?
b) how good is your onpage seo?
c) how much content relevant pages do you have?
d) is your domain a keyword match?
e) how hard is it to beat the competition?
f) how "fresh" is your content?
g) how unique is your content?

depending on above factors the results from a scrapebox blast seem to have from almost no impact to a heavy impact.

and the scrapebox blast quality is defined by these factors:

a) anchor text and variation
b) obl link quantity on each blog you want scrapebox to comment to
c) domain and page pr
d) how content relevant the pages are that you comment on
e) how much of your blast gets through which depends on
1) the quality of your comments
2) your usage of scrapebox (i.e. dont blast a domain with several blog comments, check if you are posting to the right blog software, reblast the blogs that did not get through over and over again)
3) the quality of your proxies
4) considering manual posting on high pr blogs you found with scrapebox

the one thing I learned lately is that only trying to improve one part of the equation (in this case blog comment blasting) without improving the other parts of the equation might have no effect at all.

as long as scrapebox is capable of providing backlinks and as long as you are capable of using scrapebox to get em, its the other factors that are to blame if you have no success in the serps.

I've seen increase in my SERPS after just 1 blast however for some reason not every blast causes such increases - some do some dont

I just gonna hop on that offer if you don't mind

do you ping your blog comments after blasting or do you let google find them by itself? Did you try both, with pinging, and without?

Scrapebox commenting still works wonders.

I never ping all the blogs. I ping 10-30% of them normally.

It seems quite un-natural for Google to receive pings from so many pages at almost the same time and all of them have a link back to one domain. I don't know if this is a factor coz i don't work for Google, but I assume it is so i never ping more than 10% of the blogs in one day.

I ping 10% today, skip a day and then ping 10% again and this cycle continues till I have pinged all of them. I do it pretty randomly though as am a lazy ass....

Im still conflicted on the KEYWORD used for the names when posting. I runa blog and will delete any post that has a keyword as the name as I know this is spam. if othes feel like me then our commeents are gettign delted. My question is though as far as teh link will it hurt the link any if we do use a real name so there is no anchor text?

It won't hurt and the link will still be counted as a link. But if you have used anchor text as keyword, Google thinks your site is very much relevant to that keyword and hence ranks you higher.

If you use name, the results remain positive but not that good. But it will not have negative impact.

Just Mix Blog Comments with your "normal" Linkbuilding. Dont just do Blog comment Post because you have to build naturaly. If you want to get Ranking on short Termin 1-2 Wekks you can spam your brain.

over the last month or 2, my serps havn't changed much really, then again, i do need to run another campaign on my site, just to boost it a little

I created a new site with a new domain and only used Scrapebox for backlinks. The site is almost 3 months old and was on the 3rd page of Google until today. Now it's #4. It moved 3 pages. I did a large blast yesterday but not 100% sure that did it. I just keep blasting each month.

Just when I think it doesn't work, it surprises the crap out of me. Go figure

the efectiveness varies , but after doing 10 blasts I've seen very significant increase in rankings.

today i did, 68K blast nd get 6k success on Auto Approve blogs, with using of Public proxies and Fast posting !!

How exactly do you ping them with SB? I know you use ping mode but what websites do you use as the referrer? Obviously you use the sites you just posted to as the sites to ping.

satyawrat, do you blast direct to your money page or do you blust to web 2.0 that links to your money page, to protect you site?

wich way its better for fast results on the rankings?

i will apreciate if you can help thanks.
