I want to generate backlinks for my site! My site is about blogs only. So, I choose blog commenting for generate backlinks. can I do that! ? and also please tell me some effective ways for generating backlinks for my site.

Thanks!!!

You can do that but if you are just writing comments to have a backlink it's pretty useless now. Find some relevant blog where you can engage with other people in the comments and lure real traffic

Still works but spamming is not the route as only relevant information is going to make it work for you.

Works good if done on a high traffic blogd to siphon the traffic and remember to be creative

A big Yes! Blog commenting is still an effective link building strategy when done right... It takes little bit of time & research to find the best feasible blogs that approves such comments.

Also make sure you don't sound too obvious that you are looking for a backlink.

At first, praise their work, make a humble request. This would work! All the best!

Yeah! sure, thank you so much for your suggestion.

If you're going to take the time to write constructive, helpful comments then yes, I'd say it's worth it.

If you're just spamming, save it for tier 2.

Okay Thanks!

Blog commenting is like wasting time these days, I suggest you instead get backlinks from High DA sites like:

1. Quora
2.About Me
3. Issuu
4. Medium
5. Dropbox

yes, relevant do follow sites and high authority sites....make it natural dont over do

If you manage to make it stick, why not? :)

Making it stick would be the hard part though.

OK so it's now Sept 2020.... there is a lot of 'miss-info' online about SEO and backlinking, normally down to people who know certain techniques work trying to play it down for their own gain...

So my question is two-fold:

A) Does quality manual blog commenting on high DA, Do Follo, low-OBL blogs still work if relevant to your niche and
B) Do PBN's still work? Last I heard Google (Search Engine Mafia, beginning to favour B.I.N.G.= BECAUSE ITS NOT GOOGLE!) can really hit your site hard if they see you using a PBN, especially for your money site...

Call me an old-timer but SEO's are often selling a myth that if you are at the Top of Google then you make a ton of money, it's garbage. Especially now the Search Engine Mafia have added even more PPC AD spaces and other snippets that have pushed Organic #1 even further down the page.

I can see a time when Google will no longer be the prominent search engine. The reasons are privacy and tracking and as a business owner, is the time invested trying to rank actually worth the returns? You'd be better off picking up the phone to sell your wares instead of the 'pipe-dream' that is chasing rainbows with Google.

I'm not convinced SEO is still worth the amount of money that you can potentially waste creating content and funnels is worth it anymore.

Thoughts, please?

Those links won't do much for you.

Google now counts lots of other things about links. They may even count this against you.

If blog spamming ranked, you'd see SERPs flooded with these links. You simply don't see it.

I don't link to my domain but it wouldn't surprise me if my IP was being tracked. Good job I use a VPN.
