They all start somewhere. This one is a good new domain - and I am going to work hard at it. There wont be any nonsense there - no partners - just me - and I will need a couple of mods.

anyone using backlinksforum yet?

I know everyone is wondering what is going on with the forum. There's not much to say other than Terry Kyle decided he wanted to go in a different direction.
But the real value on this site is the great community members and their contributions on the threads. That is what has made this one of the best resources for learning how to rank sites.
I apologize for being incommunicado for the past month. I've had a lot of personal issues to deal with, along with starting an MBA program that has been hellish, so this on top of it really hit me at a bad time.
In addition, I had a couple of my email accounts hacked, and made pretty much useless, so I created a new email to purely handle BacklinksForum.com business: [email protected].
In the short term, I am going to be instituting a few changes.
1. First, until October 31st, all new BFSO submissions will be free (rather than the $27 initial payment). In order to submit a BFSO, please submit it on the forum, and then either email a copy of the sales text to [email protected], or email [email protected] and let us know that you submitted the BFSO for approval and what your username is. A lot of previous BFSOs have been approved by me ?silently? for free, so if you previously submitted a BFSO, please check to see if it is up.
2. Second, until October 31st, all bumps for BFSOs will be $5 per bump (rather than $7/bump)
3. Third, all banner advertisers will get October free.
4. Fourth, BacklinksForum.c0m will be running a special promotion for the entire month of October (Oct 1st through October 30th), whereby each day a randomly drawn forum poster will win $25 shipped to his or her paypal account. In order to qualify for this promotion, the forum member will need to make a (1) post on backlinksforum.c0m (other than the classifieds sections), and (2) that post must be substantive and significant (it can?t just be a ?me too? type of post).
5. If you have any problems with BFSO bumps, please email [email protected] and we can manually bump (please note, you should only buy one bump at a time, as script is set up to extinguish all of your bumps when you exercise the bump).
6. If you have any issues, please email them to [email protected], as that is better than through the forum?s PM system.

Backlinksforum.com is dead now as all of you member know.
I was holding the domain backlinksforum.org since the last year, when i knew that the forum backlinks forum is dead, i thought to start a same forum as the backlinksforum.com
So i have started the forum on my domain at backlinksforum.org and its getting good traffic now. I need you members contribution there to give the forum a boost.

It is pretty silly of Tom to kill the site. It will have made him a lot of extra cash every month on auto pilot if he is willing to hire someone to maintain the forum.

I actually was more active on BLF forum rather than any other 'whitehat' forum - there I went for my WH ideas with regard to SEO

I'm thinking maybe it has some other reasons. otherwise, why just let it die when it is not so difficult to manage the forum at all? anyway, it is a pity.
