Is backlinksforum DEAD?

Just curious to know, as for the past week i'm not able to access it?
It's a good database of tips & help, is it closed now due to terry & tom split?

Atleast the threads & database could be put for public use. Experiments & researches totally buried down.

It was a good SEO forum. Tom is a selfish guy. He didn't select few moderators to keep this great forum alive.

Last post that Tom made on that forum was months ago, good job running the forum to the ground.... It was ranking well for "backlinks" and other pretty competitive keywords, how hard can it be to monetize the traffic? Loved the forum when Terry was running it..... Well, it is what it is.

An archived database of the BLF just went live on TP, yesterday.

As far as Tom goes, who knows what happened. All I know is when he started his disappearing act, a number of his sites went down hard, including some of his top money makers. When he first begin his disappearing act, I started tracking these sites and sure enough, they are all DOWN and have been for a while!

Per Terry and others, Tom has made himself a recluse to the online community that he once was joined to the hip at. Who knows what happened? I don't know Tom on a personal level but have had some exchanges with him and can honestly say, he never seemed like the person who would pull such a scenario.

As it stands now, there is an archive at TP and no one in the online sector knows where the heck Tom is. If they do, they are tight lipped about it.

I don't know the story, but I've dealt with some depression issues, and I've completely walked away from my main money site in the past. It was my main source of income. Luckily it was so strong from organic rankings it made money for the next couple years, but I pretty much abandoned it. This was a site making six figures a month. Of course you can say why? or how can you be so stupid. But you can say the same when someone takes their own life, you can't explain somethings that go on in your head.
I'm sure most here have had motivation problems. Mix that with a bit of depression and it's hard to get anything done.

I know for sure that Terry sold/backed out of it a while back because I had to switch my banner advertising over to a different paypal account that was Toms (at least I think it was Toms).

Hopefully it's just down for a little while *fingers crossed*.

It's sad to see a forum with potential fall.

I just got this email the other day:

I'm sure many of you have noticed, Backlinks Forum has been gone for the last few days.

As you know, Tom Goodwin and Terry Kyle used to jointly own the forum. There was some
kind of falling out between the two, and Tom Goodwin took over Backlinks Forum.

Terry Kyle built a new forum: trafficplanet.com

Since then, Backlinks Forum has gone down hill. You can't get new threads in the BFSO
section. There is no one to answer customer service emails. And basically everything else
indicates that it's on the way out.

Adam Feinberg put in an offer to buy the forum a few days ago, but Tom Goodwin is no
where to be found. One friend of his said they can't reach him via personal email or phone.

Where is this all going?

Basically, TrafficPlanet.com is taking over where BacklinksForum.com left off.

All the High PR networks are starting to pop up in Traffic Planet, and in general Traffic
Planet is growing about as fast as Backlinks Forum is dying!

Learnt some Good lessons from BLF but at the end of the day its TOM we should be worries about not the forum..
He is a great Internet Marketer and Hopefull is okiee..

No one would let there hard work die like this if it wasn;t because of any serious problem.. Hopefull things are fine for him..

You can make name and money anytime you like.. not health and family
