I want to get backlink for my new-site from my old-domains. let me explain more.

I have made a New-site and i have 5 old-domains (5 old domain in a same server but diffrent C-Class shared Ips) (New-site is hosted on ABC and Old-domain on XYZ) I want to know if creating links from old-domains footer for new-site is safe or google can penalize my both domain. (old-domain/New-site )

The Wordpress guys seem to think so. I think you should be fine dude.

So google will not consider as a spam or footprint??

It may or it may not. There's always a risk involved with pretty much any kind of backlinking. However, my experience has been that footer/sitewide linking hasn't been targeted that heavily lately. That being said, you never know when they take a shot at it again and you get nailed.

OP if you want to place link in footer use domain name not any "keyword" like "Buy laptop" etc.

I am pretty sure that G will count one link on one page in the footer as one link - all subsequent instances will just be ignored (not penalized)

One brand link from one website? google don't like much ffoter links and blogroll links, if he finds that your links like spammy, he will penalized your all domains. Try to put links from old post with good serp positions and trust.

Few links like that can't be bad if there have other backlinks created in different way. If you create few links like that and there have no other backlinks google can consider this as "link scheme" and you can get very bad penalty.

There have small possibility to drop the older domain, because the OBL to the newer will get from older's authority. To be sure do it trough banner (image) as anchor.

I do plenty of footer links/link exchanges with other sites in my niche. I tend to use brand anchors only, though, and I've never had any trouble with it.

This is what google has in the guidelines. Whether it will be detrimental will depend on the definition Google uses for "widely distributed"

Any links intended to manipulate PageRank or a site's ranking in Google search results may be considered part of a link scheme and a violation of Google?s Webmaster Guidelines. This includes any behavior that manipulates links to your site or outgoing links from your site.

The following are examples of link schemes which can negatively impact a site's ranking in search results:

........Widely distributed links in the footers or templates of various sites

It will work since the backlink is also coming from homepage it also carry authority...

That's right, but you have to also keep in mind that the lower the position of the link, the lower the value it carries.

For example, a link above the fold might be considered more valuable that a link below the fold.

I'd strongly advise against getting links from footers. Since the Panda updates they give nothing but trouble, unless they come from extremely reputable sites.

In my opinion they would be safe, but of little low worth than backlinks above it.Overall you are good to go.

best link building strategy for me. buy sidewides or footer links from kick ass websites. Shoot ups rankings in no time.
