Is anyone upgrading to windows 10?

I've upgraded to 10, but there is slight issue.
When the windows auto update is on, it download over 100 MBs and when we click on the option to install.
The PC gets reboot
Same issue is there with my laptop and friends computer.
I've downgraded to windows 8 and waiting for this issue to get fix.

The default option is to automatically reboot. You can configure it not to do so. And you don't have to click anything to install the updates, the updates will install when they're ready.

That's Windows full stop. You can spend far too long on admin tasks and not productivity. I have grown to hate Microsoft.

If you did not upgraded to windows 10 I think you should wait because it still has a lot of bugs

The main Windows 10 problem is it's not stupid proof enough.

What you talking about? Not one thing I said was false and yes, I am a computer scientist. I went to college for it and I know several programming languages. My under the hood experience comes from delving as deep as I could in each Windows OS starting with Windows 3.11. Through kernel debugging and packet sniffing (Though it doesn't require kernel debugging to see that these things occur since monitoring network traffic is enough) I can show these things to be true. As for all the general information I posted on Windows security and privacy, it's all 100% true as well. I might have guessed some overtly trusting Windows user would come along and try to dispute my post but my recommendations are sound. I didn't post here to argue with anyone or even prove anything. I just wanted to give people a realistic picture of what to expect from a new iteration of Windows.

If you think my post is "Hilarious," I feel sorry for you as I would be embarrassed to make such a post in an attempt to discredit something I clearly don't know enough about as you've done. Go ahead with your Windows 10 install. Any expert in computer security worth a grain of salt would advise against it. This is a no-brainier for me. Being a cautious Windows user, I deal with this on a daily basis.

Edit: BTW, look at the current results of the poll. Majority against.

A "computer scientist" will NOT tell something like "It has many bugs. This is typical of new major versions of Windows. Just yesterday I was in the windows chat on Freenode and people were complaining about all kinds of things. It usually takes several months before the basic kinks are worked out."

A "computer scientist" will tell the bugs he found.

Don't rush into Windows 10. You never want to be the first group of people to give something new a try. If you
don't understand what I am saying, then you are probably still confused as to why NASA sent monkeys into space.

The default option is reboot and install updates or install updates and shut down

I've selected the 2nd one but still it gets reboot and next time it starts with downloading from 0%.

Quick Heal is not yet compatible, whereas I do not know about other Antivirus.
Counter Strike Game runs in Software mode, Counter Strike Go Needs Graphic Card & even drives are not available.
Same goes on with dota2, I guess we need to wait for more time.

And that happens on 3 systems... I installed it only on 2 and didn't encounter any update problem.

My statement about bugs comes from my knowledge of all past versions of Windows, what other people have experienced in 10, and of any software product and especially in regards to Windows. I stated that I haven't delved into Windows 10 yet. When it was in preview, I installed it once just to have a look and it was extremely buggy so I didn't spend anymore time with it. But if you want hard evidence of my assessment of how people should treat this iteration, simply look at the update history of every other version of Windows ever made.

A computer scientist (As you've so rudely quoted it in an attempt to diminish what has become a life of hard work and accomplishment) has better things to do than install and go bug hunting in a just released version of Windows of all things. I don't work for Microsoft (Thank the gods) but I don't need to do that to show that every version of Windows ever released has faced the exact problems that I described. There isn't one stupid thing in my post as you claim. I didn't post to give a full technical analysis of Windows versions to people, many of whom wouldn't understand it.

I don't even want to debate your ignorance but I don't sit idly by when someone attacks something I've said. You've trolled in here, provided no evidence to the contrary of my post, and attacked me personally for no good reason. The evidence for my claims is a Google search away. If you have better things to do then stop making baseless posts that further debase yourself and go do them.

I preordered a couple months before release, and downloaded on the day of release.
Surprisingly, haven't had any noticeable problems! Really didn't like Windows 8 layout so this has been a nice change

What a logic. A 100% compatibility doesn't exist with any system. It highly depends on what you're using it for. I suggest you to return to XP for your games.

Upgraded to Windows 10. It feels faster and looks better. The only things that bug me is that I can't change with what program certain files open. Also I can't open winrar anymore.

As I wrote above, I expect an in-depth analysis from a Computer Scientist. I have no issue with others' opinions if their opinions are backed up by facts. In that case, there were no facts.

I wish to upgrade my windows 8.1 to windows 10 ...... The prob is Microsoft is asking for genuine windows 7 .... I will wait for 2 months to get a best CRACKED WINDOWS 10 ...... LOL

There has never been an operating system (Especially a version of Windows) that didn't ship exactly as I've described and in the case of Windows 10, bearing in mind the latest iterations of Windows and what we already know of the OS, my warnings are completely logical and valid. I don't know what your deal is but you're probably some kind of fanboy and you obviously have little to no true knowledge of computer security. Your last half-cocked uninformed retort proves as much.
