Hmm, I agree. But am I not limiting the target audience? Let's say there are 10 Million Hawks fans in the WORLD, but there are 1 Billion NBA Fans in the world. Not everyone is interested with the Hawks (just an example).
I want to do one on my favorite team also, but as I said, I'm not sure how to start or how to go about this plan. I have the writing skills and the NBA knowledge to do this, but I just don't know how and where to begin.
Do you really want to go head to head with big websites, with large staff and promotion budgets?
If you build a network of team sites on different IP's and hide your identity (whois), then you can link your network of sites to a big authority site at a later date
