To me affiliate marketing just seems like a big scam, it doesn't seem legit or a something that you can make big bank on, I'v never seem one person on this forum or other ones show any real solid proof that it actually works either. The truth is, you can never get rich as an affiliate for any company that pays you such a low percentage of earnings. There are so many risks involved with it too. I member a while ago I spent about $3000 advertising aff and some other sites on juicyads network and from all of that, I made like $100 back.

And I was doing media buys and selling one of the most in demand products you can. I made like 2 sales from $3000 dollars invested. Maybe I didn't do everything right, but I think I did more then enough to see a little more then $100 dollars back. These companies that offer affiliate programs and advertising are all scam artists and don't give a damn about you or anyone else. So in conclusion, if you want to make money go and start an offline business or something, thanks.

your doing it wrong thats why. Affiliate marketing its too wide to say its a scam. if you think that there are no people who get rich by affiliate marketing .. your wrong! take a look at the owner of digital forum , he is one of the legends in affiliate marketing he made millions in doing affiliate marketing.

"people learn from mistakes"

:P , it's not scam for sure. They do not pay you everything you earn, that's also for sure. They do their best to shave you of your money, that's also for sure. But it's not a scam... For most people, it's difficult or impossible or unnecessary to come up with either their own products to sell, or to create direct contact with sellers and promote that way. That's why AM is so popular in IM, probably the most popular monetization method.

I have an affiliate that makes about $200 a month by selling my product. He doesn't have to do any support, maintenance, or development. That's not bad.

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money and normally a win-win for both parties involved.

The basis of internet marketing is affiliate marketing. Whenever you promote a service, it is potentially affiliate marketing. This way you do not need to even deal with the direct moneu or product inventory.. all you do is drive traffic.

If affiliate was scam, then we wouldn't be doing it. Simple.

Yes its a big scam, so what.
Please show me something thats not a scam. Can you do that?
Impossible, because everything that is sellable in this world is a total scam.
The gov is a scam, so is the irs. Cosmetic companies are scams the list is endless.
And yet, with all these bloody scams im making a ton of $$$$$$

He knows it's not a scam... He's just having a rant... Rant away mate, we know it works!

Oh crap. Looks like my information has the potential to be biased since of my signature. Just take others information.

There's no solid proof that one be a millionaire off AM and you too that no solid proof that you lost $3000 and only $100 in return.
How on earth you spent and spent and spent ... up to $3000 and with this big lost without any return, you're ready to leave AM. I wouldn't spend more than $500 to test and see if it has potential and return.

Therefore, you just spend on advertisement for the product without any sale and you just go on your spending forever with any sale again. Yet, you came and blame AM is a scam.

AM is not scam; you scam yourself by spending the money in a waste ways.

Don't call Shawn a legend he doesn't even deserve that tag :)

its all about learn and scale. Mistakes are investment that let u learn and avoid.
u should not put $3000. do small campaigns, if those covert, then scale.

test, learn , scale.

You dont think affiliates are actually making real money doing this?

So affiliate summits are just an elaborate joke?

Dude your thinking is completely retarded and that probably has a lot to do with why you pissed away three grand on shit campaigns.

I find it funny that a bunch of broke IMers are opposed to what I've said lol. Do me a favor, if you don't have any money or assets, please don't even make a comment on this thread. It's always the broke ones that talk the most smack lol.

This is because funny enough, putting money into media buys does not automatically - x10 your money back. You have a lot to learn, a very very very lot to learn. It is so much of a scam that I spend most the year on holiday working as a casino affiliate, well I say working. Makes me wish I had my shit minimum wage job back, I just feel like I am being scammed.

How much A - B testing did you do on media buys? I bet your answer is not even none, I bet your answer to that is what is A - B testing. Here is a little tip for you, most people find it easier to go down the SEO route first, as media buys is not as plain and simple as it appears.
