is a product worth if there is competition?

Yes, but don't just copy; instead, improve on your competitor's biggest weaknesses or optimize the user experience.

I’d still test it. I’ve run products with competitors already in the market and there’s usually still room if it’s not too crowded. I’d focus on finding a different angle or creative instead of avoiding it just because someone got there first

one competitor does not sound like competition, unless the market is extremely small, and there are 10 potential customers. anything more, and am joining it

having one competitor wouldn’t stop me from testing a product if there’s still enough demand and room to differentiate i’d focus on the offer positioning creatives and customer experience rather than trying to find a product with zero competition

still test if the numbers look good. having one competitor is not always bad thing because it shows there is already some demand. check their pricing ads and customer feedback first then see if you can offer better angle

Yes. 1 competitor is actually a good sign—it proves there’s demand. I’d compete if you can offer a better angle, pricing, UX, or feature. Don’t copy them; find what they’re doing poorly and exploit that gap.

It’s worth a try. Having competitors proves there is market demand, and you can still differentiate yourself to compete.

I think having a competitor is not a bad sign, In fact competition can be good because it proves that the product is already in demand. The matter is that how you compete with your competitor. If your product quality is much better then your competitor and your prices are little bit high than him then no problem the real buyer who knows about the quality will never ignore your product even the prices are high. So if your product is real and genuine there is no fear of competitor.
