Hi all, I've spent a grueling amount of hours writing a 5000 word blog post and for some reason it wont pass copyscape!

it matches 5% with other content!

Can you believe that. I've spent hours trying to get the content to pass and it wont.

me not happy.

Is it safe to use?

My client requires a minimum of 75% original for a money site. 95% is probably fine as long as you didn't copy entire sentences or something.

Hi, thanks for answering.....its not entire sentences...its just random words throughout the article matching another article. I've done everything i can to edit it without it ruining the article structure but to no avail.

never had this issue before.

no i've rewritten the article by hand. No spinners.
I've rewritten god knows how many articles but this has never happened.

%5 can have an impact on your site depending on the keywords your targeting and you can always try rephrasing those words that are being considered not unique. it shouldn't be hard to replace them given the fact it's just %5 that way you will have nothing to worry about.

How could you check that?

I don't think it'll be a problem tbh. If you wrote it from scratch, 95% is more than good enough.

I've had the same problems with a few articles, the only thing that fixed it was to change the structure. I moved paragraphs/sections around. Try using bullets, numbered lists and quotes as well for issue areas/sentences.

I agree to it in my experience, and try it on your content and BTW, 95% would be not that bad, just make few twist or shuffle and do your own style of shuffling/rearrange if needed.

If you’ve written it from scratch I would’t worry too much.
Sometimes content will naturally have some matches with other content- think about quotes for example.

I've thrown the towel in. Copyscape is just not having it.

I've rearranged the structure, changed paragraphs, and rewritten sentences and I'm stuck on 96% unique.

Sorry but thats just not going on my money site. I'm having a rest.

Monday and Tuesday are going to be monster article day. Im going to add even MORE content to dilute this problem away. I think a 7000 word monster blog post should rank.

That's whats coming next week.

Screw you copyscape.

Scientific papers require at least 95%, i think google is fine with over 90%.

In several niches, words will be the same hence the uniqueness. If you have over 90% do not worry.

It`s OK even 15% if is not in a single paragraph all, some natural words are 100% plagiarismed by nature.

Like: Hello dear sir, I can work cheap, I promise you the best service in just 50 USD!

:D

Shouldn't be an issue. There will always be crossovers with content online. As long as it's majority unique, it's good.

Yes if the content is unique and the length of the article is over 1000 words than is ok.
