iPhone 7. Do you like it?

Since the iPhone 4, Apple hasn´t made a single phone that has surprissed me. They used to be ahead of their competition but after the death of Steve Jobs they´re catching up their competition & not ahead. I´m waiting for the Google ´Pixel´ phone.

Read this on Reddit, makes complete sense:

Steve Jobs did not take risks. His products were rarely meant to be first, they were meant to be best. He'd wait until a market was stable and then he'd jump in and put the pieces together better than anyone else. Smartphones were around long before the iPhone, for example, but they were universally terrible. Jobs changed that.

Apple is a publicly traded company. Publicly traded companies demand growth. Find a chart of Apple's revenues since Jobs returned. It's literally exponential. And the explosion in that growth is mostly due to the iPhone. Smartphones opened up an entirely new product category and Apple succeeded in exploiting that category better than any other company in the world.

Think about Apple's two great success stories: the iPod and the iPhone. In both cases, product categories that already existed, but that Apple entered and grew massively. Now think about where we are today. What major new categories are there? There's smartwatches, and the Apple Watch is a pretty good watch. And there's streaming devices, and the Apple TV is pretty good as well. But these aren't huge markets. They don't make a dent in Apple's bottom line.

So now you're Tim Cook. You've taken the reins of a company that has exploded in the last two decades. And yet the strategy they used to achieve that growth isn't applicable anymore, at least not for now. So what do you do? You take more risks. You jump into markets earlier. And you release products that are a bit less polished than Apple products normally are. I hope that's a satisfactory answer.

No thanks. Samsung phones are much better. I phones are for simpletons and hipsters.

Samsung is also but some its got hang very badly ....but Iphones is iphones u can see camera quality

you are comparing two different people in a totally different periods of time. Tim Cook and Steve Jobs were working together every single day, dont you think that Tim Cook may learned something from Steve?
The technology back then was completely different and not that powerful . Many companies nowdays are innovating some very smart and good products but noone knows about them and noone wants them, thats because the technology and marketing nowadays are completely different than 10 years ago..

See i am not telling bad its depends on my thing your thing i am blaming any one

I've been using HTC phones for quite a while and although they aren't flashy and "popular", my HTC 10 is the most reliable smart phone I have used and I came from using Apple and Samsung. Too bad I don't see HTC making smartphones for more than 2-4 more years as they are not very "popular".

Yep, that's me. Before HTC I was a diehard Blackberry fan.

I like the underdog. :D

The only reason why iphones are selling out is a good marketing along side with brain washing...just my opinion. There are better options and cheaper.

sure there are, but there is no other cheaper option to get iOS on a smartphone :P
Think it like that: when you buy an iPhone you pay also for the iOS ,Every other brand uses Android which is free , in the price that you get the iphone its also included the work of programmers who built iOS.
not saying that its worth it but still thats why ios devices are more expensive.

and thats why chinese phones are cheaper! they dont have to pay people to work all around the world like samsung, they dont have to pay service centers etc.

you get my point

I prefer htc.. It is reliable phone, battery is nice and i like that they are not made of plastic like samsung does.

The original iPhone is what surprised me the most. Before that, only a PC had those many features. GPS, camera, everything and a good CPU on your hand. That was revolutionary.

Since the 3rd or 4th version, iPhones have become status symbols. My richer friends buy the latest one and invite folks for wine and then they carefully and strategically place their new shiny Apple turd-for-diamond priced thing on the table. Then when anyone comments about it, they spend the rest of the night talking about the dang thing.

i am very satisfied with my S7 edge was a iphone user for 2 years

That quite possibly could be the douchiest thing I have ever heard. I envision them spilling their Starbucks on their new iPhone 7 on "accident" just so they can tell people it's water resistant.

I think the difference is in the system, IOS is a powerful OS, no lags, overheating ..., that's why iPhones have good performance, and if you want to get them you have to pay more...

To me, it is very stupid. I don't like this one. But in my opinion iPhone 5s is best.
