i dont thinnk they are willing and are able to pay programmers to build them undetected spyware for their phones. If so.. you just use apps like kingroot and you get a rooted phone in 2 minutes and you disable all the crap you dont feel safe with.
also no offense but ive worked with many chinese people and they arent that suspicious and very smart from what ive experienced at least.. they have a totally different way of thinking

I will be purchasing the "Marlin/Pixel XL" when it comes out. Just because they got a contract to build a phone for Google, it doesn't fix the fact that HTC has bled money from their smartphone department, consistently. I hope nothing more than the new google phone to be the game changer to get HTC to become a more household name and change their drought in profits from smartphones. They make amazing phones but they just do a horrible job marketing.

Just Awesome. The features are looking pretty good and of course the Water Resistance Feature will be an ice on the cake to grab the market.

its not waterproof keep that in mind, you cant go swimming with it nor cannon ball in swimming pool, you will just be safe when liquid drops on your phone OR if you put the iphone 7 under the faucet OR if you put it under water GENTLY in a depth less than a meter and NOT for long
