Invite more than 6 members in a chat group?

Hello BHW,

Is it possible to add more than 6 members to a chat group? The "Invite" button isn't there, so I suppose there is a limit for the number of chat's members.

If it helps clear up a lot of the garbage lounge threads, this would be a great idea.

There is indeed a limit it's currently set at 6.
Linkedin is 50, Facebook 150 so we're being a little stingy here, but there are very few groups that actually reach that 6-user limit. We'll look at increasing it and the impact that may have on the platform before making a change. But assuming we can what's the magic number (between 50 and 150) and why?

The Lounge is a place for everyone to hang out in and shoot the shit, if you don't want to see lounge threads then as a paid member you have access to the custom homepage https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/n...also-known-as-the-personal-live-feed.1278473/ you can create a feed based on your preferences.

I completely agree, lately there is a lot of troll posts and garbage in the lounge.

If you find threads that are breaking our TOS then please do hit the report button. It alerts the team and helps us look in the right direction.

Getting us back on track. Give us the number of members you'd want to see in a group conversation and why.

There isn't a certain number. Based on the conversation with the other members from that particular chat group, we think we should bring another members into that conversation.

I am not sure what @Ricky.Montana originally envisaged.

But 15 sounds like a fair number for ideation and general brainstorming or topical discussions.

Anything beyond that would turn the group into a lounge and people'd spend most of their time shooting the shit.

Just my 2 cents.

I noticed that people like @Willyfish @Yes and @RoiBox often go crazy in the Lounge and sometimes it could be really frustrating to see them spam nonsense all over it. I think you are already aware of it, but please warn them in the future if they continue doing so.

10 should be sufficient, I'd have thought. No more than 15, but as @BlogPro says if it's for brainstorming ideas in private that is workable.
