Hello guys,
I would like to introduce myself.
I used to make a living from the internet. I was working 20 hours a day, 7 days a week with very variable luck and result. I could make 5000 Euros a week, then lose 5000 the week after.
I touched almost everything: eBay, dropshipping, domain names, Adsense, Clickbank, affiliation... Never I had all the niches working good in the same time.
The first thing I learnt is to diversify. It's very important because in the internet, the market is very volatile! In one of my websites, I used to have a steady stream of 5 orders a day with a relatively low traffic. This lasted for more than 2 years. Then one day, I had 3 orders. The day after 1 and then 0 for more than a year! Nothing is stable.
On eBay, I did some money until the place was infested by Chinese factories selling directly to the end user! Some of them offer even from shipping from China! (I wonder if they Government subsides SH cost for them). Also eBay rules change all the time and often in favor of the buyer. You need just a couple of bad buyers to ruin a reputation.
Now, I have a full time job and I am making a decent living. However, I am still nostalgic to this gold rush era and I am trying to find a niche just for the "sport" not because I need more money. I seems like many things changed recently and a lot of old recipes are no longer relevant. I take it as an opportunity to be more creative
