introducing myself and looking for recommendation

hey everyone , i am new here.
i am currently doing my PHD in machine learning and AI , so if anybody needs some help in that or wants a collaboration i will be welling to help/collaborate. my programming skills are not so advanced , i usually use matlab or python to develop my machine learning models but when it comes to web development or web scraping i am completely noob ^_^
i would be keen to make some friends here and some collaborations.
i want to learn how gain money with internet. i have run through multiple posts here , but i noticed they are a bit old. do those methods still work in the second half of 2018 ? what is the simplest way to start with ?. as i am completely new to this (seo , ppc etc) i am looking for something simple to start with, to learn and to start to have some income and to build something for a long term as i am planning to make this a full income source after 2-3 years. now you have an idea about my profile , what do you recommend

Read sure, but also if you have some quant/coding skills you might as well use these skills; to get started you can do some coding including bots, as they seem to be in high demand on this forum;

by making bots, you kill 2 birds with 1 stone; you will learn why people want them and how they profit from them, and you will make good money, from what I see they are not cheap;

with the money you make and while learning, you can then start your own projects...

You'll need to read and experiment lots. Scraping hasn't changed much, if you watch loopline's scrapebox tutorials you'll find lots of tips. Good luck.

@safeSEOboost yes i have some good coding skills. but i never coded a bot before. do you know where i can find a tutorial to learn that ?

coding a bot should not be hard with your CS background @firasL
type bot in the search box, so you see a lot of threads about bot and see what is going on (I do not follow bots closely here myself, maybe I should);
see who the bot sellers are, read their postings and threads, and soon you will know a lot about bots.

focus = SEO exactly; as a matter of fact search engines are using more and more AI, including to track human behavior; so there is possibly a nice niche in the future for SEO+AI type of work, or just AI applied to online marketing, this is a promising field which has been in the making for the past 10 years or so, but with plenty of growth coming.

@safeSEOboost yes yes that's right , i totally agree. i have just basic knowledge of SEO Technics and i know they will not work as powerfully as they used to because of AI used in search engines. search engines are getting smarter and smarter. and the only way to fight fire is with fire. so i guess SEO + AI or social media + AI have a great potential and it is surely very promising
