Hello,
I sent a bank transfer from US to Europe for kind of a digital good, but the seller hasn't provided it yet. It's been a week already. Is there anyway I could get my money back?

I dont think so, there is a specific time limit for it nd its gone from what i know...i am telling about India not sure how it's outside...

Bank transfer and western union mode of payments are with no money back guarantee to clients.
If you deal via bank transfer or even western union you should use this method only with trusted client .

always stick to pay with credit card or paypal, bank wires are only for people you have known and dealt with for a while, and its best issued against an invoice into the company's account that has issued the invoice.

So where is the truth?

Well, it would be difficult to open an account with fake details, wouldn't it?

Depending what country the account is opened in, I can assure you it can be as simple as ordering your morning coffee :)
