So all of my US (domestic) sales are perfect and have no problems ever because it has full-tracking and if there's any problems, they are quickly resolved.
All my issues are coming from International orders. Recently while speaking with an ebay CSR, he recommended that I enrol in the global shipping program. I've always heard about it, but I don't quite understand all the ins and outs of it.
He said that if I use ebay's GSP, I make out all my orders and ship it to their GSP facility in the US. After that point, as an ebay seller, I would be 100% scot-free from any liability or responsibility because it would be on ebay's GSP. That sounds too good to be true? This would guarantee that I have ZERO issues with Int'l orders and any opened cases would easily be resolved because ebay's GSP would refund them not me.
My questions are:
1) As a dropshipper, if I enrol in ebay's GSP, will ebay become suspicious or even flag, possibility ban my account if they find out why all these orders are coming from the same supplier to them? Obviously, I would be making out all my orders to ebay's shipping address. I'm sure they would be able to tell that I'm dropshipping since it's coming directly from the supplier and their info/name/address would be on the box. Does ebay care or not care about that?
2) How do I tell ebay what the buyer's shipping address is if I'm making the order from my supplier to ship it out to ebay's GSP facility? Do I send ebay a separate message telling them where to ship it out to? Or would I have to tell the supplier to add a 2nd shipping address? I don't think they do that so I'm confused how I can tell ebay the buyer's shipping address?
3) Kind of related to question 1, does ebay or suppliers have conflicting issues with using the GSP?
4) It looks like ebay's GSP has their own international shipping pricing. How much does it cost me? Do I get charged by ebay's GSP to pay their shipping fees or can I customize my own shipping fees so that I can mark it up for some profit.
***note*** most of my international sales profits comes from my marked up shipping prices. I'm able to set my own shipping price using the supplier's shipping methods, but if I join ebay's GSP, would that mean I can't customize/mark up my own shipping price and HAVE to use exactly the same shipping fees as ebay's?
