Instead of random linking, I built a small “hub and spoke” model around my main keyword.

One hub page linked out to 6 supporting posts, and each of those linked back to the hub.

Within weeks, rankings improved noticeably without building a single back-link.

Anyone else tried this hub-spoke style internal linking?

Linking the supporting posts back to the hub makes a lot of sense and it’s great to see results without building any backlinks.
 
Yeah, hub and spoke works great especially for niche sites. Helps with topical authority and keeps users clicking around. I’ve seen similar gains without off-page SEO. Smart move!

The hub and spoke setup improves topical authority and it's a good methods I think.

Internal Linking always boost Topical authority and build a strong signals.

If I understand correctly, you linked like this:

1 pillar content (main keyword) -- multiple hub pages -- 6 supporting posts each -- link back to pillar content.

So, which one of your posts got more value? Did all of them gain ranking improvement or only the pillar content ranked better?

What was the traffic gain ? You do not have any backlink other than this ?

Thats clever i have seen people have problems with internal links but never thought of this hub thing. so what made your hub page stick out from a normal post ?
