interesting YT testcase

it was some day a while ago, around January, one of my staff members had a boring day with not too much to do and asked me if there's anything he can do.
its a general worker that don't know much about anything, so i showed him how to download from YT and edit on WMM and also introduced him to some free sites to make short video clips. He downloaded a few videos, made a compilation video, added an intro from goanimate and uploaded it. He showed me, i gave him some remarks, and then he did the next one and so on. overall 4 compilation videos of around 2:30 minutes were mae this day, i uploaded them to one of my deserted channels, added title, description and tags and enabled monetization.

i ordered some views and likes from BB like i do for all my videos, and forgot about it.
here are the stats until now (from the start)-


now i'm not really into the YT adsense game usually, i use YT mostly to generate traffic for my sites and not for direct monetization. But these numbers were pretty surprising and i have to figure out what made the 1st video earn so much comparing to the others.

Here's what i found so far- since this was the first video he made it was the worst one (and they were all terrible), it had no sound, very low quality, annoying transitions, and the stupidest intro that look like it was made by a 5 years old child.
actually it was so bad, that anyone who watched it felt the need of leaving a comment and write how bad it is. it was filled with hundreds of comments, and also hundreds of dislikes (along with the likes i ordered).

i guess the high rate of comments caused it to be more popular and created a viral effect, any other ideas?

Yeah I can see it now.Maybe it was the comments and the dislikes ->more buzz around the vid =youtube thinks that the video is interesting
It could also be that you placed your tags luckily and got featured next to a high traffic video

Like sasuke already said, it probably because of more buzz/popularity around it. Not all videos are perceived equally by viewers. So its probably just by luck that you stumbled upon creating a video that became popular. Earnings won't always be the same though, it can vary. In other words, YT+AdSense = unstable (most of the times) and you should hope they don't ban your account. They mostly ban all high earners and keep the money with themselves.

Lucky, The same thing happened to me ounce. Just on a smaller scale. Im still tryna replacate it; but no success so far. Hope your able to.

yeah luck was my second guess lol... but i believe its not just it
