it was some day a while ago, around January, one of my staff members had a boring day with not too much to do and asked me if there's anything he can do. its a general worker that don't know much about anything, so i showed him how to download from YT and edit on WMM and also introduced him to some free sites to make short video clips. He downloaded a few videos, made a compilation video, added an intro from goanimate and uploaded it. He showed me, i gave him some remarks, and then he did the next one and so on. overall 4 compilation videos of around 2:30 minutes were mae this day, i uploaded them to one of my deserted channels, added title, description and tags and enabled monetization. i ordered some views and likes from BB like i do for all my videos, and forgot about it. here are the stats until now (from the start)- now i'm not really into the YT adsense game usually, i use YT mostly to generate traffic for my sites and not for direct monetization. But these numbers were pretty surprising and i have to figure out what made the 1st video earn so much comparing to the others. Here's what i found so far- since this was the first video he made it was the worst one (and they were all terrible), it had no sound, very low quality, annoying transitions, and the stupidest intro that look like it was made by a 5 years old child. actually it was so bad, that anyone who watched it felt the need of leaving a comment and write how bad it is. it was filled with hundreds of comments, and also hundreds of dislikes (along with the likes i ordered). i guess the high rate of comments caused it to be more popular and created a viral effect, any other ideas?
