Instant video rank - the unlisted method is NOT dead

Youtube ranks videos per user. If I put in 'funny troll videos' in the search bars I get different video that user 2 - 3 - 4 and so on. Ranking on youtube is pretty weird these days. You need a viral/trending video to get in everyones search.

this came with the last Update from yt this Month ... You rank local now...
 
I am going to test this with a video compilation vid I've made. I will post the results after a while so I can get accurate data :)

Yeah; I noticed the same thing. If I Check with my Main account, or incognito mode, it's completely different ranking

well, i have ranked many videos in the past and pinned them in nice places, they still sending me traffic and generating passive income, it's true that most of them expires but some last for years to come.
to solve that lost ranked videos issue, i just reupload and repeat the process with the same video (after a small spin) over again, it pays off if you got a converting video.

1 in the past i did manage to rank those, but i guess we need a new test here for that, i have very long HR views, but i don't offer them to the public yet.

yes, it climbed up to #2 on youtube (incognito search), the "NEW" Badge is there (came back?!) video got 101,148 views now, and i will keep the traffic for another few days.

seriously dude? do you think i need to promote my panel to end users here? FYI my panel is used mostly by resellers, and you can bet that many still PM me for a link to my panel... maybe i should use a flashing banner in my sig instead?

when you watch the video yourself ,your video will appear on first page when you search for it with your keyword but its not really there.Clear your watch history and search history first https://www.youtube.com/feed/history before doing a search to get the real ranking.

Don't get offended because you got caught doing the oppsite what you said. I never said anything bad about your panel, dunno why are you defending it so hard, I'm sure It's a good panel.

Dude gave an old trick a try and posted his results. If his panel benefits from it, who cares. Also, who cares if he links his panel in PM? Are you seriously going out there with a sales tactic of not promoting your products? I think you should less criticize and more take notes. Wow you caught me, i see you want to hijack this thread and direct the attention from the thread topic to my youtube views panel, well you managed to do so, this is great thanks, just got more new members and PM's about it, let's discuss it some more? please?
 
let's get back to this thread topic please, i got the first day retention avarage:
as i said it's average normal retention of 60s-90s (60+90/2=75s = 1M 15s) it's 58% of the video length and it is our "normal traffic" base line
(i plan to test with LR and full retention views as well)

Can you explain more about this new youtube ranking update?


By the way, regarding the experiment that OP did, i have tried it a few months ago and it does works but the video only lasts for 1-2 days in the 1st page, after that the video gets completely ghosted.

its pretty easy. You cant rank your Video Worldwide now .. Your language, from where your views come and everything count now in which country you rank ... Make a test and use different proxies and everything and you will see different rankings for the same keyword
 
Interesting, so you only rank locally now? Still 1-2 days in the top is not bad if you have converting offer. Most people see something in the top (1-5) so it must be good they think :)

Just rinse and repeat. The thing about proxies is a good one. If I want to rank in another "country" I have to keep that in mind.

Day 4 - traffic campaign is done
total sent - 132K ( visible on video counter)
analytics data = 75K (day 3 data)
position on YT #3 (with day 3 data count)
"NEW" Badge - is ON.
retention average is 60% (1:16 minutes)

total sent - still 132K ( visible on youtube video counter)
analytics data = 75K (day 3 data) - NO CHANGE they didn't update the stats and positions yet

"NEW" Badge - is still ON.

next update in a few days ONLY when YT decide to update the search data (so the total counts of views 132K will reflect also on the search result)

** so far we learned that we manage to get into top position and hold it for at least 5 days (we still there), that alone must be worth something to affiliate marketers **
