Someone Indexed My Random URL in 2 Minutes – I Tested 20+ Methods and Still Can't Figure It Out
Hey guys,
I ran into something interesting recently and I’m honestly trying to figure out how this works.
One of my colleagues runs an indexing service. He claims he can get almost any URL indexed within a few minutes. I thought it was marketing nonsense at first, so I decided to test it myself.
I sent him completely random backlinks (not my site, not in my Search Console, nothing).
Within 1–2 minutes Googlebot visited the page, and shortly after the URL appeared in the index.
So I started trying to replicate this myself.
Over the last weeks I tested a lot of different methods, but none of them behaved the same way.
Here are some of the things I tried:
Most of the time one of these things happened:
What puzzles me is that when my colleague does it:
I asked him several times what he’s using but he obviously doesn’t want to reveal it.
So I’m curious if anyone here has run similar experiments.
What technical mechanism could actually trigger a fast Googlebot crawl like that?
Not talking about normal indexing tricks like backlinks or waiting for natural crawl — I’m talking about something that can force a crawl request almost instantly.
Would be interesting to hear your thoughts.
PLS HELP ME!

Over the last weeks I tested a lot of different methods, but none of them behaved the same way.
Here are some of the things I tried:
- Google Indexing API
- PubSubHubbub / WebSub publish
- XML-RPC ping services (PingOMatic etc.)
- Google sitemap ping
- Old Google BlogSearch ping
- Rich Results Test fetch
- PageSpeed Insights API
- Mobile Friendly Test
- AMP URL API
- AMP cache update endpoint
- Google Translate fetch
- Google cache check
- Google favicon endpoint
- Blogger backlinks
- Blogspot redirect experiments
- Google Sheets IMPORTXML
- Safe Browsing API
- Custom Search API
- Multiple ping services at the same time
Most of the time one of these things happened:
- a different Google service bot visited (not real Googlebot)
- the URL was fetched but never indexed
- or nothing happened at all
What puzzles me is that when my colleague does it:
- Googlebot shows up very quickly
- there’s no visible referring page
- the URL gets indexed extremely fast
I asked him several times what he’s using but he obviously doesn’t want to reveal it.
So I’m curious if anyone here has run similar experiments.
