Instagram upload video from computer

Hello, is there a difference between uploading videos to Instagram from a computer and uploading them from a phone? So which one is more effective? Installing from the phone is easier for me than the tedious computer. Now it doesn't show up as reels when I load it. It looks like a video. Will this do any harm?
