Hey guys,

I have started working with IG and the account setup and profiling part went well. No PVA yet. 3 accounts have been profiled and 2 of them are in one niche and the remaining 1 is in another niche. I'm following close to 100 ppl each day and increasing them constantly. But I haven't had any conversions or clicks yet. I believe my targeting is bad :( or is it because of my low follow rate?

I tried reading journey threads by @Aesis32 @biffer123 @andrewemerson @blazekhai and the IG method by @Cryogenesis and I understand that they follow niche related big accounts. I understand that if I'm in Playstation giftcards then I follow PS, big games pages (Am I right or am I missing something?)

Sorry if my question sounds silly. But, a imaginary example or something which would help me target better would really help me in my journey.

Hello there!
Kinda shocking to see my name there in the list :p
I'm not earning as much as those people in the list there but.. here's what I did.

When I first started out, I followed around 100 people manually for 2 of my first two accounts. First two days was no clicks and it was kind of demotivating but don't let that make you give up!
I believe that it all comes down on our targeting(I myself had targeting problems to be honest) and landing pages.
if those two niches doesn't work for you in a few days time, you could try other niches!
I tried out some niches for a week or two and they still did not convert so I would just drop them out.

For your question, I would say yes.
For those niches like gaming or giveaways, you could usually just follow those who are intested in the niche itself.
If you could think out of the box, it would be better and different from others ;)
Goodluck on your journey man :)

Thanks for your thoughts man! Really appreciate.
I actually took away quite some good ideas from your journey and they worked well for me.

Since the changes they implemented a few months ago, I no longer think that following followers of larger accounts is beneficial. Rather, I think you're better off targeting users who *interacted* with those accounts within the past 15 - 20 minutes. They're active, they're probably online & follow back rate is higher - at least for me.

So, I just have to follow users that interacted with posts on target accounts in the past few minutes. Is that it?
I will try this out on a few accounts and see how it works out. Thanks again!

Right - 15 to 20 minutes seems optimal. Has worked well for me

Sure man. Currently I set it up on a single account. Will report how the followback and engagement was. Thanks!
Keep in mind though - make sure you're targeting accounts that a) have fairly high engagement (look at their last few photos) & b) also, just take a quick look at their comments to see if they're botting / using engagement groups. You probably don't want to follow those people :)

Big profiles use bots or groups? I mean someone like selena gomez?

Tried it but I guess its the niche which is pulling me back. I started off with Free followers niche and it doesn't seem good anymore.

What changes are you talking about?, why following the followers of big accounts is not beneficial anymore?

Because the list of followers is no longer chronological. When you scrape, you may be scraping the same followers over & over instead of just new ones.

So even if you "follow the most recent 40 followers of the target account" with massplaner , you could still follow users that are hours or days old?

Mass planner would see the 40 that IG shows it - which may not be the most recent.

Recently i started getting errors on MP like my target accounts (i follow followers of my target accs in fitness niche, like 7 or 8 of them) are blocked private or disabled, like i did put invalid sources so my bot is way slower now. It happens often. Bot is still working but rly slow. Happened even when i wanted to follow ppl that interacted with my target's posts.

Anyone have similiar issue? Same thing when i go for MP option to interact with ppl that liked/commented on my target posts.
