Instagram Showing Wrong Follower Count?

Hello,

I run a SMM panel and clients are reporting that they "lost" followers in huge chunks.
I remember back in June IG had an issue were it was showing the wrong true "followers" count. It kept going back between the true count and then showing a couple thousand less.

I seem to be having a similar issue right now.
I logged out of my IG on iPhone app, deleted the app, reinstalled, logged back in to one of my accounts, searched one of my clients who should be at 65.6k, IG is showing me 41.8k, if I log into another account of mine on IG and search the same client, it shows me the true count, 65.6k

I am confused as to what is happening?
I hope an IG purge of followers didn't happen and they are just having some sort of sync issues

Has anyone seen this problem? Started to notice it about 10 hours ago.
Clients are starting to complain and threatening to open PayPal disputes

PLEASE HELP!

I'm having this trouble too. I can't say this at 100% but I do think that IG is doing a kind of purge of fake followers or disabled accounts.

There is a delay sometimes I've noticed for big trends yeah, a lil scary but I don't think you'll loose followers, it's just a visual thing

Hello,

Yes. Very weird first time is happening to me. I thought it was just me. I don't care about a purge to be honest because I'm fan of real Followers always, but the IG should do this quickly.

If anyone know exactly what's going on, pls clarify.

This has happened to be few times. Most likely its just a glitch and will be alright in few mins or hours.
 
had this few months (june?) ago.. the lost follower acounts, were really deleted, none panel worked fine (i always had to place 2-3 orders for 1 customer until i got the amount finished), the provider (jap) also didn't belived me and always said "everything works fine" even when i checked everything three times (privacy mode, logged in + logged out account) the counter was always different. now it's happening again i had today 3 complaints of users which lost 10k, 20k and one lost 40k followers instantly - pushing the refill button or ordering new followers doesnt work either, panel changes to "completed" money lost. so...

keep calm few days before starting corecting or placing orders at accounts / customers which got different followers counts, you will lose a money.

for example one of my test accounts:

logged in: 32k
privacy tab: 32k
as visitor: 18k

Panel Info:

"We are aware of the Instagram problem that is going on, followers' count isn't stable from 1 browser to another, we are waiting for everything to stabilize and we will fix the issue! ..."

I hope it's resolved ASAP, not looking forward to all these complaints.

On Safari & Firefox with cleared caches I'm getting the wrong count, on Chrome with cleared cache, I get the correct count, refresh wrong count, refresh, correct count and just repeats like that.
 
the last time this happend, the lower count was the real amount of followers, so all this "not showing up followers" were deleted.
i hope that this time its a glitch because customer complaints suck.. and refilling the lost follower is expensive

Hope that's not the case, I remember a good amount of the accounts last time went back to the correct # and only some were down by like 1k-3k but really the panel should provide a refill? Biggest drop I've seen so far is 20k which would be a huge loss out of pocket to replace.

Really don't know if I want to continue to accept orders right now haha
 
Also stopped Ads today and already lost 1000 of dollars at PayPal today because people claiming money back. Changed Panel. To refill on my costs my clients. Panel says COMPLETED but it isnt. Hundresds of clients bothering me, want money back and so on.

My clients want (of course) a fast refill. Otherwise they will claim the money at paypal which will cause a massive financial damage. Lets hope and see. Looking forward to your news and updates...

Ouch that's rough! I'm jealous you have ads running though, Google Ads won't approve my ads anymore :(

My panel is telling me it's a sync issue and to give it 12 hours grr

I am sending screen shots to my clients showing that one browser shows the correct amount and another browser is showing the wrong amount to "prove" to them that it's just an IG glitch (hopefully not a purge, not telling them that though)

My email and live chat is blowing up tho!! ahhh

Keep calm, wait till your providers say everything is fine and running, check every customer 3 times in different browsers (+ privacy tab) before placing an order, again be patient and offer a) some small % coupons or b) free likes to any compliant - customers love free shit
 
Right now it is just useless to place an order. Because the Panels will see numbers that proofs its delivered but its not. Or maybe. :-D
Some users told me, after logging out and in, they see old numbers. Also had this on 3 of my 5 test-accounts. Fingers crossed.

Current PayPal-Refund: 1200 USD. Still smiling. So far. :-D
 
I had this problem few weeks ago.
First I see my number of followers on insta app and when I check it with google I have 1000 or more less. So after 2 days I lost this followers.

it is an indication for that you will lose this followers in the next few days

definitly

panels should replace / refill all lost followers, but like always they don't give a ...
 
Slightly different topic but I'm seeing a good amount of people on Twitter that are @ mentioning Instagram saying their Instagram has been hacked and names, emails, and passwords are being changed and accounts are also being deleted.

Sound like IG is going through some messed up shit right now lol
 
Mate, i seriously think you should stop selling fake followers and make something else. You will ruin your reputation with this, have many problems like now and get many chargebacks.
 
I saw a dropped of 10k on my account as well. Spent $30 on a refill of 10k but then I checked on Chrome "incognito mode" and all my "lost" followers are there.. Wtf??
