Hey folks
Thought I'd throw this one to the forum as I've had zero luck with a solution..
For a few months I'd engaged an Instagram growth service, using 4G proxies and was working well, however about 3-4 weeks ago I noticed that Instagram had removed our ability to tag products from our product catalog, and then within a few days all tagged products had disappeared and the shopping section under settings/business was gone.
Contacted FB/Instagram and after a longer, drawn out conversation they advised me that our account is located in a country not supported for IG Shopping.
We are in Australia (so not the case), however turns out some of the proxies had been operating from restricted countries in Europe and Instagram decided that was where we are based.
Tried to convince them I'd been holidaying, and while they accepted that, they said that I'd have to delete our account and start again (lol).
Later chats they advised to try logging in and out of different devices in Australia, and it may eventually flick back to Australia.
Has anyone encountered this, and know of a way to fix it?
For everyone else, learn from my mistake!
