Instagram reach is going down?

same my hashtags also stopped working on many accounts
3-4 a day. Always posting like this.
Try this experiment. Post once every two days and look at your reach.
Use to I could post 2 times a day and dominate the news feed. I think with the new algo you are only alloted one spot in the news feed. As soon as you post another picture I think the previous picture gets pulled from the feed so the reach will be minimal.
I've found my reach and likes go back to being normal if I post every other day.
You also have to get as many likes as you can within that first hour to be shown to most of your followers. So if you don't reach that certain threshold you don't get shown to everybody. In turn this means you are essentially competing with yourself.

my friend owns 800k page and also got this problem, his shoutout business is still fine though.
Reach and engagement will continue heading lower as more people getting into this game.
also , i believe instagram will treat this matter the same way they did with facebook because it means more money for them from ads.

This can have different motivation.
- Timing
- Quality of content (if repost accs, always choose viral content)
- Interactions with ur followers base
- Hashtags ( check this tool: Hashatory)
- Be sure to not be Shadowed
Plus, more functions instagram will introduce more the engagement will break down

They're still perfecting their algorithm to detect commercial intent. Posts with commercial intent get limited a lot.

I saw when you put in caption: link in bio, download, free ecc. ecc. they lower the reach same as FB

Probably the same algorithm as FB, taken from there when they bought IG.
