Is it possible to log in to one IG account on three different proxies?
1 proxy (ipv6) - Here the account will only follow and unfollow
2 proxies (residential ipv4) here the account will only send DMs
I am running 800 accounts (young clients) so I was wondering if I could do the crazy idea above without getting a huge PV wave or ban, the account will follow/unfollow on one IP and at the same time do DMs on another residential IP (the account will send 40-60 DMs per day)
Please give me some helpful advice

You can do that, however, since there is 3 different Ip's that actions are coming from, it could raise a concern. However, I know many agencies that use 2 and they are fine. You can check yourself.
 
Fast advice, stick with residential or mobile proxies, if you isolate them properly and couple with anti-fingerprinting tools and matched timezones to the IPs, it would work out better. Ideally you have 1 to 1 account per IP, but if you're using the right setup and proxy, you could do 4 on one proxy. It’s some of the few setups consistently working at scale these days.
 
Interesting setup, but I'd definitely be cautious. Using multiple proxies, especially mixing IPv6 and residential IPv4, on the same IG account is risky.
For my personal experience, Instagram tends to flag inconsistent IP behavior, and even if your actions are "light," the platform can still trigger PVs or worse, a silent shadowban.
It's usually safer to dedicate one high-quality residential proxy per account and keep all actions (DMs, follow/unfollow) under that same IP to maintain trust signals. Good luck with your setup! ;)

I would advice to use ipv6 proxies only if you find a residentials provider, no datacenter. Datacenter is not good for instagram.

I use rotating proxies (rotation 15-30m), and don't have any problem so it wouldn't be a problem to change based on the action u do.

Forget about what others told about anti-fingerprinting that's not true, instagram doesen't check this based on my tests. I do registration now with new api ios so i know how instagram works very well.

I usually hear that IPv6 residential proxies are mostly used for farming Facebook accounts, haven’t really seen them used effectively with IG. It might work if you're creating IG accounts through Facebook, but if you're registering IG accounts directly, it's safest to stick with residential IPv4.
If you're logging into 800 accounts on mobile devices, then mobile proxies would be a good choice. That setup tends to reduce the chances of bans quite a bit.
If you're using antidetect browsers like Multilogin or Hidemyacc, you can pair them with clean residential proxies. Also, when you first log in, make sure to go light on interactions, scroll a bit, maybe view a few profiles before doing actions. That helps with trust.
 
Yeah, it’s doable, but mixing proxies like that (IPv6 + residential) on the same account can still trigger PVs, especially if logins overlap. Just space actions out, keep the device fingerprint stable, and don’t go too hard on DMs early. Warm-up is key with young accounts. Let us know how it holds up!
 
yes you can log into from three different proxies but your account will be at risk. also if ig find any suspicious activity and if you use api bot to manage those accounts then each and every time ig ask for email or phone verification.

It’s technically possible to log into a single IG account from different proxies for segmented actions like DMs vs follow/unfollow, but this setup creates red flags at scale. IG doesn’t just look at the IP, it sees inconsistencies across connection types, ASN, protocol (IPv4 vs IPv6), and behavioral fingerprinting (timing, request headers, etc).
If you're running high volumes (800+ accounts), the safest method is isolating each account with a dedicated mobile proxy. Mobile IPs provide a more natural footprint, and with proper rotation per task or action trigger, you can simulate human behavior more convincingly. The idea isn’t just splitting actions, but keeping the full traffic pattern believable.

Doing that setup is risky. Instagram tracks more than just IPs. They check for device ID, location consistency, timing patterns, and API behavior.
Using multiple proxies on the same account at the same time will likely trigger security checks or PVs. Splitting actions across IPs without syncing session data makes it look like account hijacking.
If you're managing 800 accounts, your best bet is to keep each account tied to a consistent proxy and device profile. Rotate actions carefully, space them out, and avoid overlapping logins from different locations. Stability and realism matter more than volume now.
