Instagram private vs public account growth difference

Wich one do you think is better tell me your opinions

From what I can tell, Meme niche and Animal niche accounts do best as private accounts, others do better as public because they can get reach through hashtags. Either way I would recommend public until at least 10k followers
 
My profile only goes private if I buy a ''bait'' shoutout, other times it's always on public and it grows pretty nicely with hashtags

On my rap and dog accounts I stay on public for the hashtags however on my babes account I always stay on private I recently paid 20$ for a shoutout which got me almost 2000 followers in 24 hours
 
It is better to set the account on public, you'll get instant followers.
