Instagram PARTNER / Graph API

I've been recently looking to start up a company for Instagram post planning / analytics and have come across many that already exist that are 'Instagram Partners' and use 'Instagram Graph API' to allow people to login using Instagram credentials onto their site and are able to schedule auto posts / stories and get analytics / insights and what not directly from Instagram on to their site.

All this with Instagram's blessings.

I had a look at Instagram Partner page and didn't find much information therein.

I was wondering if anyone has more info on this. The procedures. The requirements. On how one can use Instagram Graph API / become a partner and have authorization to pull Instagram users' data / allow for Instagram login and so on.

Any info would be highly helpful and much appreciated.

Instagram, twitter and facebook had gone full Hitler since Campridge Analytica scandal. They won't grant you any API access without manual approval from their end. And for that you should submit an app review explaining what exactly you intend to do with their API. It usually takes a few months for the review process.

@xWGx i run a service for Instagram and i have applied for their Instagram Graph API 2 months ago, still no response.

Are you a company? That would probably help with getting permission.

Do you have a business plan? What you want access for? You will need it.

Anything you plan that could be termed as botting will not be allowed.

How do you plan to prevent abuse?


You will need answers for all this and more and be legit. And they may still say no

@rootjazz Yes definitely. I've already formed a legit LLC and registered website for same name / FB / Insta on same name.
I can provide service license during request submission to IG.
Yes - I have a complete business plan (legally translated)
And no - not planning on 'botting' like at all.

Access for -
- Login to pull 'insights' and stats (followers, folllowing, posts, post engagements, audience, insights)
- Ability to schedule 'posts' and 'stories' for 'business' Instagram accounts using Graph API

And that is it. All I need.

Its a simple request. but seems like IG is super slow in responding?
God damn.

@lorentzo did you apply with all documents? (License, plans and all that)
2 months and no news.

See that is what I'm worried about the most.

If they have a list of requirements - I can do them all.
But the fact that they may OR may not get back to me is disturbing.

Thinking of doing it the black hat way then.

The ones that are approved faster are the ones that will be spending money on IG/Facebook promotions. IG has a bunch of requests for their insights, and this is load on their servers. That is considered a loss in money to them. Now, if you specify that your company will be integrating their ad info and promoting posts, they will take a quicker look.
IG sees it as: services from us request, or a revenue to us request.

sounds like you are more prepared than most who I have known to request it (and not get it). But when you say LLC, this isn't some private / offshore company? All above board, company owners /staff can be found out, is established business been going for yours. That would probably help. As a poster above said, if you are spending money with them, you probably will have the ear of someone there who can help / advise you better than people here just trying to *think* would might be beneficial
