What is the relationship between the Unique ID, Device ID and Advertising ID. Is there a way to reset them directly from a smartphone without using Jarvee?

Yes, you can but it's complicated. You need to root your phone with Magisk and then install Xposed. You need to do some heavy research but if you don't know how to do these things I recommend you don't do it since it might brick your phone forever.

Yh I check out a video on using Magisk to root and it was looking really complicated and a lot of the comments indicated it didn't work. Do you think using an Andriod virtual machine (e.g. Parallel Space) on the smartphone would be effective in changing those details, given that Parallel Space enables users to run two instances of the same app simultaneously?

I really don't know since I didn't use Parallel. You can try, worst case scenario you will lose some emails/phone numbers when you create accounts.
If you know how to root and then install the proper modules, 100% will work, but it's a test and tweak game.
