What is the best way to get IG DM to work?

I’ve been trying IG DM for ages and keep hearing people making it work but I never have been able to for any business, any audience, niche

Seems I send 100k and only like 5 people read it, and not much traction at all.

I see some with push notifications but those don’t seem to work any better.

I've heard that the results are 50% of what they used to be.

But at the same time I am hearing of people within my niche getting leads for $6 and closing millions in B2B deals with IG DM.

Does anyone have any insights?

It tends to work most effectively for mid-ticket sales. Also, targeting is probably the biggest factor when running DMs. You gotta make sure you're minimizing the amount of bots + inactives you waste DMs on by thoroughly vetting your sources and scraping off of recent likes. Mass DM as a strategy is definitely not what it was back in 2021 but it can still be pretty effective, especially if you have a high customer LTV.
