Instagram Manual Limits?

Hey guys,
I wanted to make this post because I always find different answers for the instagram manual following limit. Until now I would follow 30 people/ hour and unfollow 20/hour for up to 10 times a day, so that makes around 300 follows and 200 unfollows per day. However I saw some people saying that you can follow more people.
So my question is how many people can I follow per hour manually? How many people can I follow per day manually? And also are the numbers the same with unfollows?
(My account is 1 month old)

Hello, this would all depend on your accounts, how many followers do they have and how old are the accounts? are they new?

1 account, 3.1k followers, a little bit over a month old
 
I manually follow about 100 at a time a couple times a day. My acc has 35k followers btw.
Used to unfollow 100-200 at a time, sometimes but lately been unfollowing about 3/400 at a time once a day

Oh ok thank you! So you follow around 1k people per day? And how many followers do you get per day?
 
Everyone has given you good advice. This question is like asking "how fast can a man run?" It depends. How young or old is the man? Is he in shape or out of shape? Where is he running, in a field, in the mountains, on the beach?

As you can notice, everything depends on your account. No two accounts are the same. Stick with low, and safe numbers, and go up from there.

Manually, the number can vary so ridiculously that there's no helpful answer.

I saw an account follow 4,000 people in 4 days of being created. Common advice on BHW is to not go past 800 to 1,000 per day manually. I've read journeys where people get hit with temp bans trying to follow just 100 people.

The only suggestion that works is to start small with 100-200 per day and then slowly build it up with 50 more per day until you hit a wall. Then dial it down a bit because that's your sweet spot.

How do I know that I hit a wall? By a temporary restriction from following?

Depends. It can be an hour. It can be a day.

As long as you take it slow and space it out by setting an hourly reminder on your phone or something, you'll most likely be fine.

Only a few times in the start, Instagram will let you go off easily with the temp blocks. After that, unfollowing and liking blocks are 24 hours, and following blocks are 72 hours.
 
i would try to stay below the radar and go with the 1000 a day ..... thats a lot anyway.
i am not sure if a temp ban is just a temp problem or it gets your account flagged for the future as well
