Instagram keeps freezing (i.e. blocking) my views

Hello everyone! I wanted to share with you a problem about a strange restriction imposed on my account by Instagram. I'm not sure whether to call it such, because I have not violated the platform's terms of service. So, I think it is a problem confined to the social network's algorithm or dependent on other factors that I am not aware of.

Basically, I use the 'Remix' function to remix other creators' reels, as well as to download content from others and republish it on my profile, always giving credit to the original author of the post. However, as soon as I post the content on my profile, Instagram blocks my views, preventing me from reaching new users. It is as if the social network does not show my reel on the appropriate section.

I tried everything to get the platform not to detect my reel as duplicate, but got nowhere. Can anyone give me a tip on this or explain why I experience this blocking of views? Thank you in advance.

Are you not even getting a single view?
It should not happen because you are reposting the content from other account, Because I am posting content from other account and getting more than 1000 views.

Hello, yes. I'm not getting any views either. I've tried using the "Remix" function, as well as the various apps that allow you to repost, as well as using various sites, namely SnapInsta, to download content from the social network and repost it to my profile. However, Instagram prevents me from going viral. This happens even after I open a new account and repost content. It's really strange, if not absurd, that I can't get a handle on this. Also, I have the same problem when I download and repost videos on TikTok. Of course, as I said, I always give credit to the original author of the content as a matter of fairness.

No, I don't know how to do it. I have never implemented such a procedure, and I would like to know if this method can be used in any content, as well as on any platform (such as TikTok or YouTube). How is it done?



Someone had advised me to use ffmpeg to apply the mirroring effect to a single frame of the video and republish the content, adding the modified image as the video cover. Others, however, had suggested that I use ffmpeg, as well as CapCut, to apply the mirroring effect to the video, but I do not know if this is sufficient. Moreover, I have never tested either the first or the second strategy.

Instead of remix recreate the reel with some changes and updating metadata. straight up copying and remix dosnt work anymore

Yes, well said! Remixing the reel no longer works. In fact, when I click on a video, and go to "See other remixes", almost all remixed reels don't get views or interactions, except for a few. However, I would like to know how to delete the metadata of a video and change the hash of the content. I was advised of the methods described in my previous post, but having never tested them, I don't know if these strategies can bring results. Before embarking on certain solutions, I prefer to avail myself of your advice and tips. Thank you very much for your availability.

OK. I've found two sites, but I don't know if these will do the trick. The first platform should clean (and therefore not modify) the metadata of the video, while the other should modify the MD5 hash of the content. If I send you the links to the respective sites, can you tell me if these online tools are right for me? If you have any other platform to recommend me, I will be happy to listen to your suggestions and open to any tips you can give me. My aim is to download content from the various social networks, such as Instagram, TikTok and others, and repost it without experiencing a sort of 'freezing' of views, as well as an impediment to reaching new users in the 'Explore' and 'For You' sections. I thank you again for your kindness.

I would like to update you on the use of the various tools for modifying the hash of the video, as well as for cleaning the metadata of the same content. Basically, I used this online tool and this other utility for removing the metadata and changing the hash respectively.


However, after publishing the reel on Instagram, the content was not shown to the circle of people outside of my followers. In other words, it is as if the social network, despite the changes I made, prevented me from reaching new users. I only got five views, which is really frustrating. I did not expect this, honestly. Now I don't know whether this drawback was due to the poor tools used or whether there are other factors of which I am unaware.


To solve this, I tried poking around in the various sections of this wonderful forum, as well as on other Internet sites, and discovered that there are a number of PC tools that should both delete the metadata and change the hash of the video. Amongst these tools, there are FFmpeg (which was already installed on my PC), BatchPurifier, Exiftool and, finally, a software for changing the hash of the video (which can be found on GitHub and of which, if you want, unless you already know it, I can provide you with the link to download it).


Now, I wanted to know which of the first three solutions (FFmpeg, ExifTool and BatchPurifier, which, in terms of quality, should be equivalent) is the best option for removing metadata. Furthermore, I wanted to know if, in addition to the two changes to be made to the original video, there were other actions to be taken. If, then, you have other solutions or better alternatives for modifying the MD5 hash, I would also be happy to hear from you.
